Yo, so Im heading to Iowa for my uncle's wedding tomorrow and then saturday im going to Sundown Mountain to shred with my cousins. Does anyone know if they have a park? If they do whats the setup? Just give a low down please (I haven't been there since i was 6). thanks.

p.s- whoever goes saturday, id be more than down to shred for a bit with you
 
The park's allright. I was there last weekend and we had really bad snow conditions so there weren't any jumps and just a couple rails and boxes. Hopefully they have made enough snow this week that things will be looking better by saturday.

When the park is finished, there are three jumps, a halfpipe, and other jib features. I don't know if they will have everything they usually do though
 
Tell your family they are crazy for going to sundown. chestnut is a 20-30 minute drive from Dubuque. We are constantly changing and redoing all of our features. The large jump in the park is now about 35 feet.
 
Sundowns park is currently a piece of shit. 2 jump line with 1 15 footer with an icy not steep enough landing and dont even bother hitting the second one. block of ice qp, a couple pieces of drain tile which dont really work that well for skiers anyway. then a whole bunch of sketchy rails with shitty snowboard trampled down take offs. Overall a huge disappointment. times better served going to chestnut, its worth the money.
