Sunday river?

Just wondering how Sunday river held up after this rain. I was at loon today and it was absolutely terrible, all parks were so iced over they ended up being closed off. Worth the drive to head up there?

I was actually at SR today and it was not looking too good. sun poked out and made everything nice and soft for about an hour but other than that the parks were very icy. especially the jumps onto the rails...

east coast season is not looking so hot... we either need it to get warm and have spring skiing or get some more snow ASAP

I made the drive today because it was gonna be warm but after tonight I think it will be below freezing again. So no it is probably not worth the drive lol. The whole mountain will probs be a sheet of ice

It wasn't too bad, the rails on escapade were really icy but the ones in the actual park had the lips done pretty well and most of the landings as well. It didn't really get warm enough for everything to melt again today unless it was right in the sun so I think tomorrow will probably be better.

It was really icy yesterday and potentially even icier today. Scraped sheet ice going into the park, at stopping points and between features, icy landings on the last two jumps and pretty icy lips and landings for most rails. Hopefully it warms up soon or snows so we can finally get some good skiing.

scope the "sunday river this weekend?" thread. today was very reasonable, jib park was really nice and jumps were only a little icy, not bad at all.

well it looks like mother nature is fucking my trip. I come up wednesday and its supposed to be 50+ degrees on thursday and raining all day!

hope i can even get 1 day of skiing in before i leave on sunday morning.

this weather is terrible, figured if i drove 8 hours all the way up to Maine i wouldnt see rain.....guess not.
