They're gonna be open as much as they can I'm sure...I'm assuming next week and then as long as they can unless weather premitting...they are blowing on like 7 trails. It was a fun day- close in/down bar, and a dancefloor box set up i'm sure they will try to add more next week as everything progresses with the season. I'll be up thanksgiving break again people

So does that mean they'll be open this weekend?

I just called and they aren't going to be open next Monday and Tuesday (Veterans day). Kinda sucks but might have to hike some features.

You gonna be up there at all during the weekend?

I think I'm coming up Sunday night and staying Monday and Tuesday. If anyone wants to hike and ski whatever's available let me know. Hopefully there will be a few rails setup. I talked to someone from SR and they said that they'll be open for the weekend but then there official opening day will be next Thursday. A little strange that they wouldn't open on Veteran's day but we'll just have to make do.

The weather report says it's supposed to snow a little bit on Friday. That, plus the snow they're blowing is making me hopeful for good snow. Maybe more will be open than there was on monday

Was there good coverage on Monday such that you didn't have to ski down one narrow strip of snow? Really hope that they have a couple trails open for rippin by next Saturday.

It was wall to wall, skiing to the bottom was a little sketch but very fun.

doing the best they can. Everyone is busting butt around here to get as much open asap, at this point it's on mother nature to do her part.

If you're around hmu.

We got a good base down on quite a few trails so as long as they stayed solid and we can get good temps tomorrow night there could be the chance for more trails. Next week is looking like it will be much better for snow making.

Any idea on if the other 6 trails you were blowing on (Not Upper Punch or T2) will be prepared for Saturday? Does the weather look promising enough that we may have 8 trails top to bottom instead of 2 with laps to the mid station?

Most trails need a couple more inches and then they are ready to open. We need a good 4-6 hours run time to get everything tip top but our main goal will be top to bottom opening. If not Saturday, there is a really good chance Sunday.

Are the 2-3 park features that are up right now like easily hike-able? Definitely looking to be doing a bunch of rail skiing on Saturday when I am up.

If anyone has a nice or even decent camera and would be down to film a session on the mountain tomorrow that would be sweet! Looking to get some footy but all I have is a shitty gopro. See you all up there!

It was pretty crowded and the lift line sucked but the snow was actually pretty good. There was like 4 features up, a couple rails and a box

Yeah, it was a Cannon tube/Close-in kinda flat bar mini plaza feature at the top with a down bar after it, a butter box after that, an urban on single barrel and a tube at the end. Pretty sick setup but you have to hike from the park entrance up to the top of the features which blew. Still fun to be had for sure, people were killing it today and the trail skiing was top-notch.

I'm heading up tomorrow morning and skiing til Tuesday. I'll most likely be wearing a black Saga sweatshirt and red pants so feel free to say hey. I'll have my camera up there so if anyone wants me to film I'll bring it to the mountain and we can have a sesh.

You gonna be skiing on Tuesday too? Im seeing if I can make it up, no promises though. Hope it works out!

Riding the lift as I'm writing this post. Just a little update, there is 1 trail top to bottom and you don't have to hike to the park anymore. The park has a close-in with a cannon, a downrail, a dance floor, a flat rail, and a tube. Slushy and warm today but it's pretty sick. See you guys tomorrow.

Anyone heading up from Boston? Tommorow or Sunday?

I'll be heading up from Boston a bit this year if you're looking for someone to carpool with.

Also, sunday was a good time, not bad snow/coverage for such early season. Hopefully we get some cold weather and snow soon!
