Sunday River this weekend.

Realllllly want to make it up for a day or two over break. Anyone have any discounted/free tickets?? Help someone who desperately misses that SR vibe this year.
 
snow coverage was great! lapping mountain runs was a blast, but I have to say for having the tour come through today I was disappointed in the shitty park setup they had going on. I guess they are opening up more shit for tomorrow.
 
I was told starlight will open tomorrow and jib will open Saturday night at the latest. Starlight is suppose to be strictly a jump line. the b&e crew will actually have a decent park tomorrow to hit.

also pretty sure my buddies and I got first tracks of the year down spruce cliffs, so epic. can't wait to get back to the river, thinking about going up for new years
 
Must have been bony, right? That trail is sick when you got the first set of tracks and it's deep enough! Not as fun as the cliffs under the lift line though...
 
No problem man. Really wish I could go out and ride with everyone. Been stacking up a shit ton of hours. The next two weeks are going to be busy as hell. Also starlight is open and jib should open tomorrow. Plan for none of the detaches to open tomorrow, we are getting ice in town.
 
Im with you on that. I just want a normal day where everything is running and when I don't have to be in a 5 in the morning because of all the ice.
 
Today was EPIC!

Hit Northern Exposure which was untouched 10in deep first thing in the morning, got to Flying Monkey literally when the patrollers were dropping the ropes, hella faceshots. Then Last Tango 5 minutes after rope was dropped.
 
I hit it a while back and rode on the bike park bridge. I also hit up the sticks that same day. It was the day after this years first big storm.
 
Been fun up here lately, lappin with the homies at starlight all morning and flowing jib park at night. Too bad I'm going back to mass today. Last night was pretty great with the fireworks too.

If you are heading up to the river poniggas have a roadblock set up on the access road. They are busting people mainly for pot.
 
get them to get in your car, and then break something, you would have a civil suit for days. just happened to a friend of mine out here in colorado the other day.
 
this is what I wanna know. im heading up this weekend or early next week and im not looking for any ponigga troubles.
