Sunday River this weekend.

you can still hit it straight on. I should be working on Saturday. Was out yesterday playing Frisbee on broadway. That shit was fun as hell.
 
Yup I'm the only liftie rocking Orange eg2s. Not 100% sure if I will be working, I have been on call and there is no real scheduled yet.
 
Update on park. On the roller they put in the double that's jump on and a 8ft to the left of the rail that is ride on. The box is attached to the side of the double tube rail.
 
Straight from the mountain report:"In short, we will have the Chondola by the weekend (possibly Friday), and by Christmas four terrain parks across our peaks with a tubing park in South Ridge. It's hard to be humble sometimes."

I'm surprised Chondola didn't open earlier, easily could have Friday if they groomed out Grand Rapids and Escapade. Did they lose a lot of snow after Sunday?
 
any update on the current park or any chance of starlight being open this weekend? ill be there saturday
 
We did lose a lot of snow. I hope that snowmaking kicks ass tonight cause if escapade (the only thing skiable right now) is skied on all day that trail is going to get wrecked. We are scheduled to open the chondola for 11am tomorrow.

Starlight has not been groomed out yet. I don't think there is going to be anything on it till next week. This year there will be a progression park on moonstruck (part of the reason for 5 parks by Christmas)
 
Upper punch, jib park, starlight, rocking chair, moonstruck progression park, and doubtful but never out the sticks(natural snow dependent)
 
its sad seeing that this crew is saying that a new crew is being formed.....the old days of Sr are where its at, i barely ski with anyone that i did in high school anymore
 
They got a huge jump made at rocking chair right now. No landing for it yet but i'm thinking it a air bag jump. High angled lip that is obviously made for going inverted. I got a picture of it on my phone just gotta eventually post it.
 
That would be cool. I think Jib will be open by the weekend too. Probably going to Loon instead this weekend though.
 
Jib definitely will be open this weekend. Temps are looking very good for the next seven days and sunday and monday looks like we will get some natural accumulation that will stick around. Starlight could open this weekend and if it doesn't it will definitely be open next weekend.
 
Park update. First hit from second entrance is now a round rail going across the trail. A lot of creativity can go into that hit. Slides, stalls, and going straight over it and tapping it. After the second jump there is a angled down double tube. After that hit there is a debut of a new feature for this year, a round tube on a triangular prism (sounds cheesy as hell but its the best way I can describe it). Its going across trail and you can really only go straight up and over it right now.
 
thats actually the first hit but there are landind on the side as well. I'm having a hard time finding a pic of the feature you quoted me on. I may end up having to make something shitty in ms paint.
