Sunday River Staircase

just my opinion but it looks too short and too steep for all the hyp that was made over it

I'm kind of disapointed about where they put it... I think that think should be the 2nd hit, do 2 rails, then the stairset, then w.e else... idk, it seems really out of the way to make it into any type of a line...

i heard they put it there on purpose when they realized how shitty it was because they knew if it was in the middle of the park it would ruin the whole thing

seriously? I don't think it's THAT bad, it's deffinitley still got potential, it would be dope if it was that long on one side, and then on the other it had a flat, then another set down so it'd be a dub kink, atleast then it'd make sense how they have the rails set down it, and you could learn on the down and bring it to the dub kink once u've got it.

oh, i was actually kidding, i was just a bit disapointed by its steep/shortness, but i havnt skied/seen it in person yet so i shouldnt talk

Or its good b/c its out of the way enough that folks who want to hike it aren't clogging up the jump line. Also allows for someone who hits the QP to still have some fun stuff to come on their run. Also nicely visible from the base. Also uses puts the QP pile to use as an in-run. Also means that once air-hill is in use..the staircase will be below it. Lots of different ways to look at it.

i think loons staircase is better that one looks real steep and not too long i might b rong tho i havent seen it in person and loons also has more urban takeoffs

most of u are exactly right, too short, too steep, and the flats on the ledges are pretty gay. still cool though the rails are different widths and the landing is nice, fun for big 180's etc
