Sunburst Update

I'm going to sunburst tommorow wednesday and i was wondering who else would come

Also here is an update on the Park:

Sprecher:

1 box to picnic table rail

1 flat down rail

1 30 foot step-down jump that gets u very high

1 bench rail

1 25 ft step-down jump slightly smaller but also pretty sweet

1 rainbow rail that is clearable pretty cool to do a hand drag 180 over it

Other side of park has 2 jumps a jump with a tire on it and 3 rails a straight down a rainbow then straight rail and a kink rail

Other sides on black forest and other areas have a 15 ft jump a double rainbow rail a s rail a 10 ft jump a huge step up a small quarterpipe type thing and a rail that drops down to another rail

Over all pretty sweet set up but Sprecher park is awsome

i'm going friday morning. sounds like the parks have a bunch of variety. can't wait to hit that red rail again.

barrel/tire jib then the 10ftr and a flat rail next to it then a 15ft and the log jib at the end

the down rail then a flat rail bout 3inchs off the ground then the red flat down

yeah they're closed, check the website, who is up for a saturday session? ill be there around 4 till close most likely.

what are the chances that they will be open tomorrow. i assume that they will be open but we all know what happens when you assume. no reason why they won't be open. just looking for an answer from someone with some insight.

Like I say everytime stas, check the website. They will be open at 4pm tomorrow friday the 16th. They will close at their regular time.

huh they must have put that up later in the day because I checked the website earlier in the day around 10ish. well looks like i will be there at 4 then. who else is going .

Yesterday i busted my shit. My and my friend built this sweet jump so i could do a few backflips but i completely messed up on my first hit and hurt my left knee pretty bad it's like someone stuffed an apple into it cause it's so swollen so looks like i won't be at sunburst today.

if your going today bring some orange soda. it's gonna get crazy. also BP is going yes you heard me right. Brian is not bitching out this time. we'll be there at 10 o ' clock.

such a fun day. skiing with a drink in my hand was probably the most fun. when your thirsty you simply just drink. every skier there was tricking it up and having fun. can't wait to go again on thursday night. SB THURSDAYS MOFO. and then again on FRIDAY MO'NING. look out of the kel mitchell orange soda edit. dropping when brian finishes it.

hahaha. brian said he was going to do this one. i put it the nicest way i could.
sorry brian, it's the truth.

such a great setup. gotta give it to the park crew, parks gotten alot better past few yrs. i worried bout the last jump being smaller but the middle makes up for it and sprecher has alot better flow

progressions got decent flow, a lil hard to judge speed on the jump line and paint on take offs and landings would help

sprechers up rail has a gap thts good for tricks off and this is the first ive seen a three jump line where u can hit all three in one run

black forest. alot better after a dissapointing begining last yr. the bench rail as a down, flat rail at top with cliff rail by that. tree jib and jump line. also the s and c rails. alot better than the flat down gap from last yr. how bout the tree jib gets made into a stall tho? also be cool to see a log rail of somesort

great job with speed rollers. helps alot in progression and black forest.

yes, SB needs to mark their jumps and on ramps and landings. yesterday was a little overcast and spotting the landings for some of the jumps was sometimes difficult. just a suggestion. also the wallride is getting set up. don't know if they finished it last night but we moved it into position yesterday afternoon. that thing is fun.

Use this old mogul trick when there is flat light conditions. To mark the knuckles on the jumps, just break off branches from the pine tree up by the race course or down by Chair 3. Stick your pole in the snow and leave a 5 inch stalk on each corner of the knuckle and rub the needles on the downslope when the light is flat.

another thing I've done in the past is use the digger hotline utility flags. There are so many hits that we as riders need to mark, let park crew handle the ruts.

I'm glad to read that I'm not the only one who thinks the last jump in sprecher is extremely short!

The step up coming down from black forest is really sweet. Hopefully Robby can lengthen the one after it as well.

See you thursday night

Yea i think there jump at the bottom sucks now it's almost flat too so gay and i fucking broke my binding on it wtf i landed fine and my bindigs just blew up

yeah pine needles work great for the landings. me and andy did that friday for the middle jump in sprecher. i would have to agree with you guys on the bottom jump being to small. the first time i hit it was friday in the extreme flat light and almost double ejected because i couldn't see the landing and flew way too far. but that middle jump is sweet. maybe a little more lip to it and it will be amazing. keep up the good work sunburst crew.

everything was sticky as shit. i hit the flat down, and i guess i was throwing huge sparks teh whole way an then i jsut did a dead stop and body slid on teh snow, it sucked. i could hear boarders on the rope " he alsmost lit that shit on fire."

i hit the flat rail by chair three nd my ski just stuck to it and came off my boot.

then my front ski stops and doesnt come off making me shoulder dive into the landing

yeah everything was really sticky, obviously the weather made that happen. hopefully it cools down this week and we get some snow.

i can make it out there on thursday. this week is going to be sick the next five days.
Wednesday - SunBurstThursday - SunBurstFriday- SunBurstSaturday - UrbanSunday - Urban

whos gunna be at sunburst friday? and is anyone gunna be there later at night? cuz im plannin on goin somewhere after school fri

i will be there on friday. but it will be during the day when no one is there. except for a few people that all kill it.

Well saturday is out then, gotta work at the shop, but im off sunday. What rails are you guys planning on hitting Andy?
