Just got an email from them saying that they will have 2 chairs running and just exhibition open on Wed. They hope to have 7 runs open by Thanksgiving. So much for the rumor that the park will be open at the same time. Hopefully by this weekend the rope will be running.

I drove by Saturday and they had a ton of snow on the bottom of the hill then, just needed more up top. The new rainbow box (25', disappointingly mellow) and the "Pinic table box cut in half" (25' flat box about 4 feet off the ground with another flat box 2 feet off the ground, which a snowboarder may be able to toe/heal slide but worthless for skiers) were out in the lower parking lot ready to go.

If you haven't seen the hill since last year, you'll be surprised to see how tight they squeezed in the new buildings between chair 2 & 3.

Robby was told the park would be the second run open. They'll get it done by friday along with pussy foot and white carpet so they can get that lesson money and clear out the snowboarders from exhibtion so people can make some turns come this weekend.

ya there should be some stuff up, there always is opening day. im heading there thursday and friday i think

I might be going on saturday, I don't know where I'm driving to yet.... But I might convince Wasko to go for a Friday night sesh.

I'm going with Scott on thursday. Hoping that the rope is open on the weekend and hoping that I'll be able to go then. All I need is some skrill.

in the past pussyfoot has been the 2nd run open and the park was third bt maybe they relize how early season people are mainly snowboards and park skiers.

especialy with the kicker built on pussy foot before the park was open. had bout 2hrs of it before we had to tear it down

I went tonight, they had a couple boxes, picnic table, and one rail. I was really surprised how good the man made snow was there.

nick was there, i saw some pictures from his phone and im pumped to hit the bench rail

i am so so so disapointed with the picknik table, its half as long as it once was

are you going to be there tomorrow?

well have a decent crew there. stas, filly, bp, and myself at the very least

Na, I won't be there until saturday. I've got a shitload of homework right now. I'll be the chubby kid either in a black oakley cord jacket or white wingman, on anthems.

went to sunburst today for the first time... i liked it, i was sprised at the friendlyness of the crowd there, and even though there wasn't much of a park, their snow feels reallg ood for some reason lol

idk what they have today but yesterday they had a up box that u had to jump onto it was about 6 feet long (landing was all ice), they had a picnic table about 5 feet long that had snow in the landing, but there was a big hole in the landing (if u came out on the side youd b fine), and they had a really nice flat rail like 3 feet off the ground like 15 feet long and about 3-4 inches wide. that was the best feature but the landing was kinda icy too

today at 4 the progression park is supposed to open with 2 jumps, red flat down rail, rainbow box, and one more box or rail. The 3 hits near exhibition are still going to be there

i left at 2 today and they had the park bench rail moved to progression and were moving the box over there.

when i first got there the box had a jump on to it then they made it a hop on

the table was there

there were some barrel jibs and carved in jumps

progression opend at 4 i guess

Ok I was there since like 2 today and it's sweet the park opened at 4

It has a box at the top then the bench rail and then a rainbow rail last

It also has 1 kinda small jump i still hit a 720 off it but it was pencil and i spun like crazy then they have a medium jump maybe 10ft or 13ft gap it''s nice i did a sweet 360 off it and missed my landing which made me do a front-flip it was sweet. :)

So yea but if you go you should know the toe rope sucks and it was faster for me to hike up i'm gonna go tuesday and a few days after that. I'm the dude with light green jacket and orange red pants.

I just got home from SB, the park was extremely weak. The "two jumps" are just mounds of hard chopped snow, no smooth takeoff or landing. So if you are looking for the park to be good I would wait a week or so. But what can you really expect with no natural snow, so I still give them props for opening it up so early.

DUUUDES!!! BEST DAY EVER TODAY!!!!! THE TWO JUMPS WERE AWESOME AND THE boxes WERE ok. REALLY FUN WITH THE SUN OUT AND SOFT SNOW!!!!!! TOO BAD THAT PEOPLE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND HOW TO RIDE A ROPE TOW THOUGH. SPACE OUT PEOPLE. REAL FUN DAY TODAY AND TUESDAY WE WILL BE HITTING UP TYROL. HOORAY FOR A COLD NOVEMBER!!!!

FILLY G CHORD IS BANGING IT HARD!!!!!!!

so i went there tonight and boy were we out numbered. The park was open but the tow was having some problems (loose clutch). So i mostly just hit the stuff on exhibition.

And some snowboard kids from the lift screamed at me and my 2 frieds "SKIING IS SO BADASS,SKIING FOR LIFE" and i just made me realize how mayn fag snowboarders are out there and how bad they are and cant back up shit.

yeah sunburst has a lot of snowboarders that aren't very good but what do you expect, it's the cool thing to do. I have to give sunburst props though for opening there park up when they did. Now if they can fix that finicky rope they would be set. All those damn little snowboarders don't understand that they need to be spread out so the rope will work properly, it's old and can't handle as many people as it used to. so give the person in front of you some space.

yea it's so annoying all the snowboarders keep cutting me off it's kinda gay.

It was sweet though that they opened so early and they're gonna have a slopestyle comp in january which is tight

skiing with emmett! yes emmett davis bootfitter extradaniere, i saw him folks he sold a pair of new footbeds with new boots, dudes hot fire.
