Last Week I went to Outdoor school Camp with my grade.My teacher was in a Field talking to his Girlfriend at 11:30 pm, my friend and I were suspicious so we flashed a flaslight in the eyes of my teacher and they were closed. I went to sun peaks once, got really hammered, and there's some fun outta bounds stuff on todd mtn. A lot of the runs suck, and Nancy Greene yelled at us for 'going too fast and scaring children', which is funny when you consider what made her famous...

Sun Peaks is fun to party in, and the skiing is decent, giving you something to do during the day.

Freezy deletes all my posts because he doesn't like me, so I suggest you message him to make him stop.

Been to sun peaks, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Hill was kinda flat. There was shit for snow (im not sure if that is all the time, although they hardly got any snow later that year). And the park seemed weak.

 
i just got back from christmas holidays up there the last day they had a nice down flat down set up and a couple other rails and were still workin on the pipe and jumps should be decent when there done. the snow was really nice so i wasnt in the park alot but the dub kink was def fun

was up there this weekend. snow wasnt so hot, but the park was ok. flat down box and the street style ledge were fun. no complaints about the jumps or pipe. loads of attitude in some of the skiers though. i got a lot of up-downs and im better than you looks. oh well, i guess thats the whole skiing thing right now.

it seems like this stage of life for a lot of people around our age is like when you are playing a video game and you beat the Final Boss, only to find out that was just a decoy Final Boss and the real Final Boss is about 50x harder. and on top of that, you used all your special tricks to beat the Decoy, and you are also low on life. and you have a crappy third party controller.
 
i was there this weekend too. i would say the park is pretty damn sweet. not a whole lot of rails but the jumps are nice. the DFD would be better if it didnt have that stupid little jump in the middle of the ledge. nice flow though. i liked it better than big whites three weeks ago, but im sure big whites is better now. they jsut dont have enough jumps. lots of good little rippers up there who are really nice

thats not sucha a bad thing. the big mountain their aint that great. but brett was saying they are expanding the shit out of their park. the owners are pushing for a park now. hes shooting for a $500 000 budget. clearing the trees to the skiers left of the park. putting a HL park down beside the lift, a slopestyle run where the park is now, and a blue and beginner park beyond that. also expanding upwards beside the pipe. with new rails from SPS. should be sick, hope it all works out

ya brett barefoot is the park manager. there is sort of back country. its not steeps and shit. more for building jumps

I skied the bc a lot more then the park this year, it's prett accesible and they have some fun stuff the further you go. the park isn't amazing though

 
don't even go there, last time i went there last year, they didn't even have a pipe unless thats what you call a 10 foot high walled undervert death ditch

I go to sun peaks every year!

it's like a smaller whistler but way less volume. The line up to the lifts are super fast and the snow is amazing. The park isn't very big... But the runs are super nice!

morrisey is the only really flat mountain, the rest is pretty good, but if you want some double blacks and stuff go to the burfield or atleast the crystal

 
its a pretty flat mountain, maybe a bit flatter than big white. some steeps, but you dont really go to sun peaks to ski steeps

the park atr sun peaks is always crappy until the very end of the year. It's still not great then but it's a hell of alot better

 
anyone hear anythiing about a two day park festival at sunpeaks. for skiers?
