Sun Peaks BC and/ or Jasper in the summer?

so I'm done 14 days of work in the am, and going to be heading to Bass Coast festival, but that starts in the 1st, so I want to kill some time on the way down from Gande Cache Alberta.

I can do so either in Jasper, or Sun peaks. or 1 night/ day at both. I'm just wondering what sun peaks is like in the summer??

I'm planning on riding xc as well as renting a dh bike for a day or two.

And obviously I'd like to do some partying at night, Jasper is definitely the safer bet in that department

Jasper's fucking beautiful in the summer, haven't been to Sun Peaks in the summer but I can tell you it will be damn hot. Not much help but don't go to Sun Peaks for both days do either of them if anything.

Sun Peaks is great in the summer. They have lift served biking, both XC and DH. Nice golf course in the village too.

I like it better than Jasper, fewer tourons.
