Hey im coming over from Aus for 5 weeks in dec/ jan. Managed to get a cheap place in silverthorne (wildernest) Going to be riding key, breck etc. Just wondering what the night life is like in or around silverthorne. Or will it be better to get the summit stage up to breck at night for some drinks and hang out.
 
I'd rather go to Breck at night, but with 5 weeks you could even get out to Vail for a bit and check out the night life there as well.
 
Breck's night life is definitely better, but the last bus from breck to silverthorne is at like 12 or something which is wayy to early
 
Oh lame thats a bit early. i havnt been to summit in a few years. From memory breck is like 20mins from silverthorne? Are there cabs that run late? On friday or sat nights?
 
yea about 15-20 minutes. And yeah there are cabs running, but taking a cab home every night you go out will start to get fucking pricey. Your best bet is to make friends in Breck who's couch you can crash on when you're too drunk
 
Yep cab's are way to expensive and it is impossible to get one and the bus only runs till 12pm so that is pretty lame. You best best is to meet up with a bunch of bro-ho's and find a couch to crash on. Just look for anyone wearing a basketball jersey with a flat billed hat that talks like their a surfer from cali.
