since i lost my oppertunity to ski everyday, I've been trying to fix that. 5 minute drive from the Fenway area of boston, in Brookline, SHJP, sponsored by Jurassic Spark & 617 Riders so far, possibably Ski Market, should be up and running by january 1rst to celebrate the new year. I dont know if its gona be legit with the town or not but either way i dont really care. Ive been sessioning we stole or built up there for years. I dont think anyone will have any reason to complain about it.

"If you make it up Summit Ave alive, the big reward is the hilltop outlook. Corey Hill Park is set up with a playground and picnic tables, but across the road is the outlook which doubles as a summer sun catcher and a dog park. because the outlook is so steep you could probably get the thrill of your life sledding down it in winter, but i have a healthy dose of fear of and don't need to flaunt it. This is the perfect spot to spread out a blanket, cuddle with your honey and read books, drink and eat snacks while absorbing the outdoors."-www.yelp.com/brookline .....OR JIB MAD RAILS,BLAZE NUGS AND LISTEN TO MUSIC!

Short, steep hill, a close walk from my house, I've been messing around jibbing, snowskating and sledding there since I was 4. Your welcome to stop by and sesh a box and chill but it will probably be January 1rst at the latest before everythings fully up. *depending how much snow we get

Full setup for Jah07 could include:

- 20' Welded shotgun

- Banger Elbow Rail

- large FD shotgun

- trash and differnt types of stall bonks

- Medium and large PVC flat boxes

- Flat down box

- Down rail with staircase

- gap/tranfser jibs

- 15' table*

-10' high wall stall

- Multiple Picnic tables

-40' Road gap*

- much more

Many differnt lines to choose from, including street style runs with street style rails.Everything will be kept maintained as often as possible by a storage box filled with salt, rakes and shovels to provide the smoothest lips and landings possible. All jib will be locked together by chain.

- Music pumped out by the Osiris G-bag all day. During Jams larger speakers will come out.

If the town ever lets me be legit about this then Ski market/UG and other local shops might help sponcer the mini park. The designated jib area will be surrounded by a boundry of orange cones, possibly a plastic short fence.

So if you live around the boston area or even 20+ minutes out come down for the day and check it out

that's a great idea adrian. I am sure i will be in the boston vicinity at some point this year, and i'll defeinitely stop by and throw you some dough for the effort.

sounds ill dude. a train is being put in through my town and into boston so that should be a good placre to go when i cant go up north

That sounds so sick. I hope you can get it to work out. I live about 35 minutes from Boston, but I would definitely drive in to jib rails.

Holy shit man this is a fucking sick idea. Good luck. If you need help let me know. I live right in back bay. This has a ton of potential but could be really tough to have run legitametly with permissions.

Sweet idea, i live in back bay, and may have to check this out. That is if it ever stops raining. Hopefully by then we'll have a sweet season underway

my input

-don't overachieve and have some dangerous/non-legit jibs...make sure theyre all money.

-can you dig teh jibs into teh ground (shoudl proabaly do this now before the ground freezes)...i just see asshoels stealing them.

-raod gap sounds really stupid-if this goes down, i see that being the reason the someone shuts it down.

-try to get more companies involved (line, d-structre, ec headwear???) so when the twon finds out (they will if you set it up as legit as you wean to now) it looks more legit and theyll approve of it

thats sweet! one of the families i babaysit for live in brookline!!! ill so be there!!!! let me know if you need any help with anything

awesome if your serious about helping drop me a message on aim or something

I've started on the designs this week

the road gap is legit... but only when thers a couple feet of snow, aka urban blizzard

As soon as i get things setup ill go for more sponcers

i honelty dont know brookline all that well...but i know how to get to their house...its off of rt 9....i know that narrows it donw huh?

Hey man, Im at school right now so I can't. But I would definately be willing to help set up some shit (dig some holes for rails or whatev). Definately a good idea to get that shit in the ground before it freezes so people hopefully won't steal that shit.

I live right next to fenway park, and would possibly be interested in helping out..especially if you need slightly older (26) people to deal with the town and shit like that. Really great idea.. Especially if we could hookup lights for night sessions.

whats the name of the fam???i live in brookline on heath st sorta off route 9 so i might know em.

This is an awesome idea.... Ironically, im not just saying this. Me and a friend went driving around Boston last winter and i told him about the park ontop of Summit Ave because my girlfriend lives on the street... Although we didnt have enough snow, we still thought it would be sweet to put shit there.... But we found a park in Brigthon down Washington st that has a hill to start in on and goes flat , but they cool thing was, is that there is a set of 7 maybe 9 stairs with rails on either side in the middle of the grass, just out of no where ! well i hope this happens.... but is the city going to allow you ? Im here if you ever need any man power, like i said, my gf lives right there....

Its good to see all these new faces coming out to help make this a reality (hopefully). Power in numbers.

very good point, it not be a bad idea to bring in an article or something about it; especially when they see that the mayor of Denver was promoting it. Not some crazy stoner skier punks.

Im starting some building this week... but im gona need lots of help. There is another hill that is MUCH larger but slightly further away, if the city would approve that then its possible larger companies like burton/freeskier would sponsor it.

I made a Boston Jib Park cult to help organize things. lemme know if u want in

get tht shit set up for new years night, we get a shot with the fireworks in the background, if possible and it would be the illest thing ever
