Wanna thank the sponsors; Line, Steaz and WFNX for stepping up to help us make it happen.

Props to everyone who showed up, you guys made it great for us!

It was the first time we pulled off anything that size in our backyard and overall I think it went off. Major focus for us was to set up that box so that everyone who showed up could ride something without getting trashed. Also wanted to keep everyone flowing so that you get a ton of hits. We kept the loop down to 5 minutes, thanks to everyone for being cool about the staging and not pissing each other off.

Next time we'll make it bigger. That metal rail is 24' long and would have put you out on rte 9 by the time we'd built the kicker. We've already figured out how to do it for the next time.

Didn't expect to see so much talent so early in the season, you guys rock. Couple of you picked up sponsorhip. I know Wifey wants to hook up Michelle for one and Ryan, you need to check in asap. Tele-man was pretty sick!

To the asshole who made off with those Anons, you're lame and will get it back at you 10x over in your life if that's how you roll! If someone knows him, tell him to return them or send me $150.

Otherwise, it's all good and thanks again! There were a few newspaper people there and some movie guys were taping too so I'll keep you up to speed on all that as I find out where it is. Plus, we'll have a ton of pix on our site asap.

Peace,

Teddy

you shouldnt advertise that your giving away a pair of skis and then not give them out, and sell them in the shop, thats pretty lame. you should have gave them to first place skier.

We were ready to give a snowboard to the first place rider and skis to the first place skier. I thought that the skis had already been given out when I gave Jeff his board. So it's not lame it was confusion.

The skis are going to the kid who came in second overall who got a Line bag and a bunch of other stuff. Anyone know who he is???

We're looking for his pic now and will post him as "Summit's most wanted" 'til we find him.

Honest mistake at the end of the day...but we'll make good!

Teddy

thanks summit, that was sick. definitely looking forward to future ones, hopefully with slightly better rails. and for people bitching about the event, give them a break, it was their first one, and the fact that they put so much effort in earns them mad props.

"Tele-man was pretty sick!"

I'm paying the price now, about 87.63% of my body doesn't work. i fell over 3 times trying to crawl into bed last night.

no it was eric...the kid with the orange hat on under his helmet with the brown billabong zip hoodie on.

so what was the full deal with that kid that broke his collarbone at the start? he did it right before i got there, what i want to know is how he did it so efficiently, he did it in like 5 min max.

Yup, that's the kid who took skier's first. Eric and Matt, sorry for the confusion! I couldn't hear a damn thing that was being said down bottom cuz FNX was blasting so loudly. Anyway, next time it will all be smooth so forgive our screw up as newb hosts.

Summit's got another 14 events mapped out for the season already so I'm sure there's PLENTY opportunity for everyone to score! I'll keep you guys (-n-girls) posted but keep up on our site too. We'll have a million pix from 10.22 up soon.

The first hour took down 2 peeps. 1 knee and 1 collar bone. Sux. Hope you 2 get over it before the snow flys!

Teddy
