Summer

Spending a month in hood, head home, work my ass off for a car and then save for a deposit on a place in slc.

I can't bring myself to giving a fuck about summer. There's cool stuff going on, but I feel at home at uni here in Sheffield now so I'm really looking forward to next semester.

My plans:

- Working an insurance companies call centre, handling emergencies abroad. It's dull af, but it pays well and it's 16 weeks.

- Going to the Highlands (Scotland) with my fam for a week. Climbing mountains, hoping to get a good shot at the In Pinn (probably the hardest summit in the UK, because of a 150 ft pinnacle at the top. Danny Macaskill cycled down it).

- Tramlines festival back in Sheffield, seeing Wu Tang and The Charlatans, amongst others.

- Graduate.

- Got a surf trip planned, never done it before so I'm really looking forward to going.

- Go back to Sheffield in September, start grad school. CDT (4-year PhD with some lectures/ exams in the first year) in chemistry and medicinal nanotechnology, hyped to become a doctor!

Things I plan on spending money on:

- A truck. They're harder to come by in this country, and as a result they're not that cheap.

- A new touring setup, hopefully ON3Ps.

That'll leave me with enough to actually go skiing next year, hopefully two main trips and a tour roundabout Easter.

My plan is to work all of June then go camping and fly fishing in wyoming for a couple weeks in july.

At the beginning of august my friend and I are going to Germany for 2 weeks as a senior trip so this summer should be great.

Plans so far are a week or two camping up at Folgefonna to get some summer skiing in, then taking a camping trip to Denmark for 8 days to windsurf and if the conditions are right maybe try some wave surfing too. Also I hope on getting allot of days camping up at different windsurf spots here in Norway that I have been wanting to try. Otherwise I will stay at home and do some mountain biking and surf the local spots.

are you a 16 year old girl?

I wish the the 16 year old girls at my school would work out. Bunch of overweight, pale, vampire looking fucks.

I'm going rafting and fishing down the grand canyon for 10 days in june and then I have an internship for the rest of the summer. I had to start doing adult stuff this summer

Also, why muscle tone? Get fucking jacked dude.

because I want muscle tone so it makes skiing easier. If you're ripped like the rock it throws your centre of balance off and it just makes skiing harder. Plus woman don't find huge ripped dudes attractive

Why get jacked when it makes fun things (climbing, ski touring, trampolining, fell running) harder? Yeah gaining muscle is fucking important, but there's a balance there where getting too big/heavy becomes a serious disadvantage.

That's the worst reason not do something I've ever heard.

If you care about what women think, you're gonna have a rough life. Their opinions change like every 10 minutes.
