Summer Upgrades!

Just saw the new summer upgrades coming...

good shit, very happy to see it, especially with the new video stuff coming in the fall, but I still think there are a couple of things that are VERY important to be upgraded:

1. Searchbar... at the very least allow more than 50 results to be returned.

2. Easier picture uploading. Multiple uploading of pictures would be great.

The picture part, I guess isn't that important, but the searchbar plays a very important role on this site and it should def. be upgraded.
 
theres all ready a thread on this man but yeah i like them exept for what the new acount pages will be like.
 
be able to delete multiple "my threads" notification, but not all, and still keep some to update if someone replies
 
We've added a google-powered search feature. Our current search does a good job with pictures, videos, news, etc, so you'll still have that to search those sections.

The google search gets super deep into the forums, so it should provide a much more powerful interface than we could have created.

We'll see how it works out. Remember, this is just the first round of upgrades... we keep updating the site all the time!

 
Hey guys, cko and nopoles decided to add a few sick last-minute updates so unfortunately the new site won't launch until next week...

but holy shit is it ever baller...

 
Inbox page is my favorite. shows my threads, cults, all the good stuff. it's becoming my home page. and it looks sick. nice work team.

and what other's rate me for karma works now too! it's like 7.5, weak guys, I'm at least an 8.0
 
I like the fact that I can put the site on > 2MB connection speed, and see everything, or if I put it on dialup, the background goes away, the ads don't load, and everything is ridiculously fast, cause I don't actually have dialup

no, "s" on it, just swimnetwork. it's people that have ads with us.

on another note, thanks for making the small change of fixing profiles, so that the writing is all justified the same.

and I don't think we need the create thread quick link on the right hand side. it confuses me to thinking I have a message, and you can create a thread at the top of every page, in a very convenient location
