anyone got any plans to hit up slopes further afield than normal?

planning on doing a tour to a few places at the end of august with unity but if anyone is heading up north give me a shout

got some evnts comuing up at cas in the next few weeks and then the MK leg of summer heat
 
I'll be skiing Cas the week I'm back mang. So the 12th and 13th probably if you're riding then?

And hit me up when you head down south dude. Which slopes are on your tour roster?
 
will be riding one of the nights at least if not both

tour hasnt been confirmed yet, just seeing what the slopes are offering us set up wise but it will be the last week of august fo sure, maybe hit up the farmers jam but not sure
 
I've started going to Hemel every couple of weeks with a few boarders. It's about a 3 hour drive, door to door. Defiantly worth the drive imo.

This coming Saturday (31st), I'm going up to MK for the For Boarder By Boarders thing. I'm not really bothered about it being a boarders event, just another chance to get on some snow :D
 
I went to the SCUK Summer Bash last year, and it was a really good time. I was the only skier there, but everyone was really friendly, and a good time was had by all.

I'll also be at Hemel at least once every week when I'm back at uni.
 
parkstrife is happening at cas tomorrow, they have built a rail transfer thing which sounds sketchy but also like a lot of fun, reggae themed park

Fuck, that looks so fucking intense. I can't wait to get back home now, and start shredding Cas.

Is there much difference between the Thursday and Friday parks?
 
only on the thursday before event night, they cant fill the slope cause of lessons so it goes out friday afternoon in groom time

any other time its pretty much exact
 
I'm going to Hemel this coming Friday, if anyone wants to, say hi. I'll be wearing a grey'ish helmet, riding Blends...
 
I'll be at Hemel every week once uni restarts, so stoked. Let me know what the conditions/ features are like man
 
Last night was sick. There was only one kicker on the main slope, I was hitting it for a while with this kid that I drove up with, but then the knuckle was getting shit so we stopped. Rest of the features was a F/D, D, D box thing, ribbed F/D gas pipe and a few other various rails/boxes on the rookie slope.

As I've only been doing this kind of skiing for a few months I've just been hitting the kickers, but because of the lack of kickers last night it forced me to work on my rail game and I've pretty much got it dialled in 100% now.
