summer skiing

well, we finally did it. me, my little bro, and a few friends went summer skiing. we took the zambony snow from a local ice rink with a pick-up and we set up a jib in my front yard. id been waiting a while to do that. it was pretty sweet. anyone else do this?

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?

ya but hockey rink snow is the cheap way to summer ski, i made a 18foot rail to kink and sessiond that with hockey rink snow.. it was preaty ill... u get weerd looks from people driving by

 
YAH IVE DONE THAT LIKE 5 TIMEZ

i predict in year 2010 there will be no snowboarders and all freeskiers , why because skiing kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
the closest thing i got to summer skiing was skiing on sand dunes in Idaho, some of the tallest freestanding dunes in the US, it was prety fun but it was impossible to carve

how did people see you jibbing? did you do it next to the rink?

and when you guys get the rink snow, do you ask or like go steal it somehow? just ask? i'd hink that woud be easiest

they'd be like 'yeah come by this time evey week and get 2 truck fulls'

we did it in my yard and all my neighbors were stopping by and such. and we actually asked the zamony guy for snow. he was real helpful. we told him it was for a kid's birthday party tho, haha.

a kid that snowboards at my shcool set up a rail at the ice center instead of move the snow and they were there with a curved rail for like an hour he said before anyone saw and then they got kicked out

I could probably take the snow from here if I wanted to because many people have done it before. I remember there was a picture in the paper of some boarders who moved it from the pile to a very long grass hill about 300 Meters away.
