Summer Skiing

Hey I live in Mid Michigan and ski at Mt. Hooly in the winter but I want to ski in the summer. I was watching some videos and kids were sking on some type of plastic carpet or something. Any one know what is good to use in the summer other then zambony snow? Please get back to me I really want to ski.
 
you can make a carpet "lik out door carpet wet it down and it slides ok, just for like a drop in to a rail or somthing
 
astroturf tends to work the best of the drop but i like to use ice rink snow in conjunction with it to get the best results

Ahh thats sound more like a newschool idea ''oldskool'' Sorry man had to say it:P But yeh u'r right tho. Thing is there are so many thread just search for summer set up, summer rails/ summer boxes etc...
 
smooth dry cardboard as like the regular brown type used in packaging boxes is amazingly good for sliding on when placed on a down hill hit at speed - i've done it, good for a quick fix.
 
the best is cleary indoor/outdoor carpet...without snow but with snow use the carpet with the snow on top, last longer and not as much snow is needed
 
i was pondering on the idea make your roll-in. Then take some PVC pipes and you would need machines but like stretch it soits flat, nail it to the rollin or w/e. Then sop and wet it down.you think it would work? or is there already flat peices of PVC that wouldnt require cutting
