Summer skiing in the alps

Come to Les Deux Alpes in France, the summer Park is great and the vibe and party in town is also great. Best in June and July than August. This is how the park is more or less.

France:

Les 2 Alpes: from middle of june till august, huuuuge park but very crowded and very bad snow

no more summer skiing in La Plagne, Val Thorens, Alpe d'Huez etc...

Switzerland:

Les Diablerets / glacier3000: until middle of May, sick park, uncrowded

Saas-Fee: from middle of july until winter: sick park, uncrowded

Zermatt: year round but park crew is only there july-august-september-october, the highest (3899m), best snow, uncrowded, sick park

Engelberg: until end of May, no park

there is no more summer riding in Verbier, Laax, St. Moritz, etc..

Austria:

Kaunertal: till end of may, sick park, spring classics

Dachstein: from the end of may till the middle of july, sick park

Kitzsteinhorn / Kaprun: year round, sick park

Hintertux: year round, sick park

there are a bunch more glaciers open in Austria (Pitztal, Stubai, ..), but not with a park I think.

Italy:

Val Senales: park in june and july

Cervinia: accesses to Zermatt

Passo Tonale: ?

Marmolada glacier: ?

Just to continue.

Marmolada - no park but one of the better places for pow

Passo Tonale - I think no park tho but maybe they have a pipe i summer

Germany :

zugspitze glacier - i think that they have summer skiing

and Kitzsteinhorn is a best place I've skied, such a great park. You should probably choose les dues alpes,it's europian first park resort or saas fee

I just bought flights to Grenoble so I can go to 2Alpes for the summer. My first choice was Saas Fee, but it just looked way more expensive.

Does anyone know of any decent longer term accomodation in 2Alpes? I think I'll be there for about 6 weeks from mid June to the end of July. Found a cheapish hostel (16 euro a night) but i figure there must be cheaper somewhere. There will probably be 3/4 of us.

I'm quite stoked on the mountain biking there as well, anyone else taking a bike?

I'm looking for somewhere that isn't too crowded. I was looking at Saas-Fee or Les 2 Alpes, but it seems that Deux Alpes is always pretty busy.

Anywhere else?

If you are 4, forget about hotels and grab an apartment. Waaay cheaper. The park does get crowded sometimes, but it is by far the best-biggest park in europe's summer skiing scene.

Cheers. any idea where I could get a cheap apartment online? The only ones I can find are rented weekly, so are expensive.
