Summer Ski Jib HELP!!!

It's Summer here in NZ.

So I need a summer Jib.

Our house was damaged in the Christchurch quake and so we had to rip up all the carpet.

My question is can you use indoor, normal carpet for the run in material?

Would it work with detergent and water?

Any help is needed.

Cheers

ehhhhh it might be a bit sketchy because its thicker and meant to have friction... join the build-a-jib cult though. WEALTH of info in there. just go community>cults>build-a-jib 101. its right near the top

I've used household carpet with soap and water before and it worked just fine. Just make sure your inrun is steep/long enough. Also, what p-fo said, join build a jib.

flip it upside down so the carpet side is faacing the ground and that works really well!

That actually does seem like it'd work pretty well. Usually under carpet its like hard n plasticky sort of. I'd say try this and see how it goes.
