i need something that will slide other than snow that my skis will slide on... i heard carpet works but do u guys no of anything that is cheap and that slides?
 
what i do is take a tarp and use skrewdrivers to hold it down and then use like dish soap and spray water on it and its slides so nice and it cleans your skis off so well...lol

but ya i use it all the time in the summer
 
ive heard astro turf is the way to go. ive looked everywhere for it and cant find it anywhere.
 
we have got some sort of turf/fake grass for outside motorhomes... haha but it slides quite well when made wet
 
you go to the ice rink, ask the guy after hes done cleaning the ice with the zambonie (no idea how to spell it) if you can have the snow that comes off the ice, usually at the end of the day thers a lot of shavings which is basically snow..and there u go
 
cool that simple ohh yeah one prob i have to drive an hour to get to an ice rink woulg it melt before i got tome to jib?

 
idk if A/C in your car would help. But you wanna sesh with ice rink snow around like 5.pm so the sun isnt as strong. itll last a little longer.
 
me and my friend are making a backyard setup and were using fake grass/turf stuff that you can buy at home depot, wait are PVC pipes good for using as a rail?
 
holy shit, that's exactly what I do. Down to the screwdrivers. I didn't know anyone else would do that.

yeah thats a key component of it. bring a pickup truck with a big bed and you will be all set. most of the places just dump it around back too so just look around if you dont see it at first
 
ya it just sits outside the rink in a huge mound that never really melts because they always add more too it like every two hours.
