im making my first summer setup4meters long rail:)

what carpet should i use to make the downgo and jump smide?

But seriously, use turf. it works really well.if you need more speed then put construction fencing on top of it.
 
This. Get some PVC tubing and mount it sideways like the steps on a ladder. That's working nicely for me and it's the fastest way I've found.
 
If you are going to ride in the summer you have to do it legit. Go find your local ice arena, once a day when they clean the ice they make snow when they dump it in the parking lot just fill up your truck and you have a perfect run up and landing works way better then the whole turf deal.
 
If you use turf you gotta soap it before. That and construction fence over it and it will slide fast enough. That's what I use and I have no speed issues
 
There a couple ways you could do this.. Drop in covered with wet turf, soap is not really needed. Put the orange construction fence over pieces of the turf and with a nice push off you will have plenty of speed. If you really want to fly like already said you can cut pieces of pvc and make it like rungs of a ladder
