Summer setup help

Ok i start working on my summer setup and i decide to only use the natural drop of my backyard. Results: I try it without water i was not getting over the jump. I think I will add 5 feet of drop. is it necessary or water and soap will do the job?

+ I built a 10 feet rail

Here is what my setup look like now:

When I try it (no water)

Overall view (the drop-in is about 8 feet long)

10 feet rail (6 inches wide and I will cover it with UHMW or something like that)

Takeoff (about 14 inches high) (the rail look higher but it is because nothing hold it)

Just a heads up, your rail will snap eventualy unless you put another peice of wood at the bottom connecting your supports.

Unless yours is really tall like Joe's (below) you do need soap. Water is a must, even on his drop-in, but we don't use soap. Or use plastic on the drop in.

ok so what i will do is add 5 feet of drop and dont put soap. i Think it will work. if not i will use soap.

Doe UHMW slides well? what material do resort use?

it is not complete. I wait to see if i make it higher before doing a platform.

now, i can easily climb on it without platforf and push me with the 2 pieces of wood

soap is not necessary. i have never once used soap with my setup and havent needed to. you will need water though that is for sure.

i have all the info to complete my drop-in but i need to make the rail more solid.

In the 3rd space between the support, there is 2 crossing piece of wood. If i put two piece like that in evry space, will it be solid enough?

use orange snow fence and just put the astroturf on the lip orange fencing is the fastest stuff ur gonna get but it has no control so u need some astroturf too

okay so my dad who is engineer just bring from work a piece of black plastic (UHMW or something like that and tell me if u know) that slide very very very well. it is a sheeting of 1/2 inches thick and 15 inches per 10 foot. i only need 6 inches so i will eventually do another rail like a rollercoaster because it is very flexible. i will add 5 foot more of drop and my setup will be complete.
