I know there is allot of treads about this, but none of them answers my question!
How tall should a summer setup be?How long should the "Down" be?How long should the whole setup be, from lip to the back of the whole thing?
My rail is about 13 - 15 feet long.K++ For help with mesurments and drawings! :D

Mine is 8 and a half feet and works awsome but i think 6 foot would be tAll enough. I have my down at a 45 degree angle and i think its tweleve feet long. Then i got a bottom section that makes less severe of an angle so u dont slam into the ground. I got a twelve foot pvc and it works awsome! Goodluck

Mine is like a 8 1/2 quarter pipe that works awesome. Its almost vert at the top and you get plenty of speed.

6 feet high should be fine. Keep in mind the better you can make the trannys the more speed you will hold, and the less up you travel the more speed you will hold (like if you can make it so your jump on to a rail is only 6 inches to a 1foot and a half high you will lose less speed then if it was 3 feet high)

My setup will be
Hight : 7.5 feetDown slope : Not sure about lengt, but it will be at 45* / 50* angel and with astro turf and maby orange fenceFlat/ Jump : 5 feet long and about 0.6 feet tall.Rail : 15 feet Pvc pipe.

i am building mine at the moment. its just under 6 foot with about 4 1/2 ft of down before the transition im hoping i get enough speed out of it.

I think anything around 12 feet is perfect. My friend had one at his place that was 12 feet and it seemed to be just the right length. Although if you can go longer than do it for sure. You should also have your rail no higher than a foot and a half off the ground

How tall should a summer setup be? 7-13 feet

How long should the "Down" be? steep but not too steep

How long should the whole setup be, from lip to the back of the whole thing? use your brain dude, newschoolers isnt gonna make this for you.

I was asking for help dude!I know NS can´t build it for me!I if you have read my thread you would have found out that I have found out how the setup should be!

This is my setup; rather large yes but cutting it down after april break when snow skiing is done.
dimensions in this picture are:
drop in 8 ft tall
run in 16 ft tall
composite decking rail 10.5 ft tall

Do you honestly think i tell you to build your rail 12 feet high... wow.

Dont just hit the pvc off the ground, get a stand. Youll be able to sciscor your switchups properly so your skis dont hit the ground

i know you already saw the cult but..

About 6-8 feet

About 12-14 feet excluding the jump, maybe a little longer.

Not sure

And jump I'd say about 1 1/2 to 2 feet high.

if you want you can look in my pics, I built one with those kind of dimensions.

My drop in is 6 ft tall with a 10 ft run in and it gets me enough speed to hit a 15 ft rail so anything bigger than that will be good
