Summer Setup Bullshit.....

well i have had my setup for about a year now and never had an issue with it till now......the fucks who run our homeowner association have decided that my set up need to be removed because i can be seen from the street..haha some bullshit but i know for sure its not going anywhere...Anyone with setups ever have an issue like this? and post your set ups as well!!

put up something in front of it that covers it from the street, like drapes or something? just something to hide it..
 
Tell them you are intent on rectifying the situation and have therefore covered your setup in a special green material so that it blends in with the surrounding vegetation.
 
chances are that the members of the homeowners society that are complaining have obstructions in their own yards too. Just be like, "oh my ramp is visible from the street? How about your boat/shed/childs playground/ect..?"
 
try to fight it or just dont listen. you could move it to a different part of your yard or put the trampoline in between the road and drop in. looks like you have a lot of trees so maybe you could hide the drop in so its less noticeable. hope that helps
 
Oh trust me I'm fighting this to the end.. There is no way I'm tearing that beaut down.... I can't really move it because my parents don't want it on my actual yard but I think your idea sounds the easiest though ++k
 
I had the same issue with mine. They have sent tons of letters but have never come to our house in over two years. Chances are that they won't do anything about it.

3. SET TRAMPOLINE DOWN

no but seriously, if you wanna give em hell just move the trampoline in front of it.

or do like someone else said, get two long sticks and hang up a HUGE white bedsheet like a giant wall in between the setup and the street. bonus points if you paint some ridiculous picture or saying onto it ;)
 
the home owners sucks! parents surprised us with an inground trampoline when we got back from camp last summer only three days later the home owner ladies comes and tells us we have to remove because its a violation.
 
i built some bike jumps on my land and the neighbour who is a bitch complained to the council who wanted there to be a fence around them to show the ground the jumps were on are for different use than the rest of the land. fucking insane.
 
I bought a tramp/built a set up and owned a pitbull and the HOA went asap on my parent, told them they were going to raise their insurance to a shit ton and if we didn't get rid of the dog we would be dropped
 
It is mentioned on House Hunters quite often when my mom watches it. They basically are a committee that's in charge of the community.

OP, that's total bull shit. the drop in is only like 8 feet tall!
 
Why the hell anyone would want to live in one of those fucked up HOA neighborhoods is completely beyond me.
 
You should create a really thug edit of you riding it, Tall tees, Wu-Tang etc. maybe make some gang signs towards the camera, Maybe shoot some guns too. Present it at their next meeting and watch their reaction. But yeah maybe just block it with the trampoline if that's possible to do?

But really just move your tramp in front of it.
 
No trampolines are accepted by the HOA.. Idk there bitches but i can't move the trampoline because my parents don't want it on the grass
 
Make an Apology video Lesh/FD wear style. I can just see it now... "What should I do?... Should I tell you how much fun I have on it? Should I donate my backyard set up to an NSer... What should I do?"
 
Haven't thought about that.. That would work but I'm just afraid of moving it because I don't want it to break
 
This SAME exact thing happened with me and I ended up just selling it to a local guy of craigs...

50 buck in my pocket, but a whole summer of no skiing...so pissed!
 
I once brought a bunch of pallets in my backyard to try to setup an inrun for a rail. I get through building most of it and had a start ramp when my neighbour starts to complain saying the wood looks like a 'junkyard' and needs to be cleaned. Needless to say it wasn't moved.
 
you look them in the eye, and say, "suck my dick, this is america, if you want that thing down, do it yourself you worthless piece of shit"
 
switch the tramp and the in-run around and to move it, take the ramp off the other part and it will be much easier to move

i just don't get how some "association" can tell you what to do with YOUR land and what is on it. I'm with whoever told you to hang a curtain or something and put a picture on it. Preferably a picture of you (or someone else if you're not confident in your beauty) mooning the camera with "EAT ME" written right across your behind.
