For my summer set up I have this clear plastic sheet stuff. Its pretty durable and its almost as fast as snow if you soap it every couple of runs and spray water in front of everyone as they drop in. My friend has a video I just have to get him to upload it.

Tanaka, all you have to do is go down to the local (maybe not so local) skating rink, find where they dump the ice shavings and you got yourself some snow.
