Summer set up plans?

Me and my friend are trying to make a summer set up and I'm just wondering if anyone one has plans they could share with me. Were using astro turf btw.

i think most people just have an idea then build it...without actual plan plans. at least thats how i built mine.

join the build a jib cult to get good ideas

all y posts keep coming out as doubles, and now some threads are in my threads twice. herp.

anyway, anything i've ever built seemed to just evolve without plans.

i doodle out basic layouts then i do measurements do like a final drawing. i take those plans to home depot and show it to one of the people that work in the wood section and they cut everything to the right length

you are over thinking it. acquire the longest piece(s)of pvc you can find (depending on what type of rail you want) then acquire 2x4's and just go from there.

Thats a little underthinking it haha but seriously in build a jib theres a stickied thread that tells you everything

Make a 6 foot tall drop in, 12 foot long by like a foot high rail and BOOM Standard summer setup for you to spend your summer on. If you are using a hill, you probably wont need as big a drop in. For example, I have a 4 foot drop in on a small hill, with a PVC drop in, some astroturf into a 2 or 3 foot high rail, then some turf on the landing. Its sketchy as fuck because its so narrow, so I would advise you to cough up a little extra for more turf, it might be a waste but for me I learn better when I feel safer, so I hit my friends alot more than mine, about the width of a pallet will be plenty

well i was going to post what i drafted up with draft sight but i guess the files to big.what i got is 6 ft tall 2.5 wide 15 long as a drop in with the top having a 2.5 by 2.5 platform the acaul slope is 6 by 11.5 then a 5ft transition to a 5 long and 2.5high.

Drop In-6 Feet High-2.5 feet wideKicker is like 24 inches high....
15 foot PVC rail (2.5 feet off the ground)Works like a champ

remember to not make the kicker at the end too steep or kicky, its a rookie mistake.

if that makes sense?

I just got mine from home depot, it was like 20 bucks (enough for the ramp and landing). Then some constuction fence that we acquired for free.
