I used the search bar, found some stuff but not everything.... I want to know what most of you guys use to slide on and what yout think is best, If u guys can help me out with prices that be great too

your best bet would be ice shavings from an ice rink, but if you cant get that (if there isnt one close by, or some places dont give them away) then get a strip of astroturf stuff from like home depot or whatever, put liquid dish soap on it and spray it down with some water.

Astroturf isn't very expensive.

I use tarps, water and dish soap. It works well, but Im stepping it up to get astroturf.

Word, astroturf with soap and water will do the trick.

PVC is a good rail material and so is lexan and even hard plastic. But Lexan works well because of its thickness and its high quality plastic.

but lexan is very expensive. I just used real thick pvc like 12 bucks for 2x 3 meters its really nice. Gonna hit it for the 1st time tomorrow cant wait

ice rink snow is good but it'll melt after a while in the summer and its a pain in the ass to get/lay out

yeah me and a few of my friends want to do this, and his dad is welding a rail for us, but im still not sure on the run up.

astro kinda sucks, well we gotta make our ramp higher coz the astro turf didnt slide that well. But like we also used plastic stuff and that slided much better

if your gonna do that and just have a carpeted inrun i recomend putting something hard under it, it moves alot faster with a hard surface under it

i have astro turf and personally i think it sucks even with soap and water. but that orange fencing is strait up like sliding a box which feels kinda weird on an in-run for a rail.

i want to get a bunch of carpeted rollers, that seems like it would work well

i want a setup kinda like, a single ramp, ground, then a little jump to a rail or box

i just got 2 pvc pipe one is really really fat and the other one is skinny each 30ft for free from SSS, yes the portypotty company but i would say search around your town and see what you can find laying around before you go spend money on a rail
