Summer Newschoolers

there should be two newschoolers, the skiing for winter and like biking/skateboarding/rollerblading/freerunning/etc. whos with me or has other ideas/objections?

 
Well, for a lot of the skiers on the site winter goes from october-may and then june-july for summer camps. So, there's almost always something skiing related going down somewhere. And, for the few months that there isnt, NS sort of turns into a skating/rollerblading/tramping/mtb type site anyways. At least in the photos/videos section.

We can't possibly run both sites.. we need the summers to prepare for next season.

Yea, I agree, it would be pointless to set multiple sites. The population on here pretty much 'rolls with the seasons' - the site's big enough where you can always find some group thats doing the same thing you are.

^ ya and there is usually still covarge and updates and kids posting about there time at camps, with it be Mt.Hood, whistler/blackcomb, new zeland etc, there alwysa ski shit going down!

and you can easily talk about your summer activities in non ski gabber, regional forums, and cults...as well as still post your pics and videos.

would it be worth having a summer forum? dunno, i can;'t see it staying on topic.

good idea though, pirate. I've always thought it would be cool to at least have a few new sections in the pictures and videos for skateboarding, inlining etc., and maybe even a new forum.

yeah its a good idea but it just sorta morphs that way. and to whoever said that the ski season should last forever (i always forget i can quote) i would kill for that honestly...its march and whistler is like...almost done..and im crying
