Summer jobs

Hopefully working at UPS and some other job:

so far I have found

landscaping

data entry at a printing place

working back room at target

maintenance at my old high school for the 3rd year.

^ Did that last year. Was a waiter in the cafeteria. Youd be suprised how mean old poeple are when it comes to there food.

costco--worked there almost 2 yrs fulltime

paid internship down near the capitol of my state (only a 10-week program but still)

Line cook and a really relaxed resturant. Another benifit is that it lowers my food cost because Im not going to buy food when Im working

.
i live in western mass where we get alll these rich people from NYC and they pay me a ton to mow their lawn and baby sit their brats.

I just got a job as an estimator and foremen for a fence building crew. Over the course of the summer I hope to branch out to deck building, site grading, sprinkler systems, and sod laying. It would be sick to spend two weeks in someone's back yard grading it, building a fence, sprinklers, sod and a deck.

kip if you need some help and i still happen to be unemployed i can sod, grade, and do sprinklers. Plus any other landscaping thing. I dig a mean hole

It is, lifeguarding is the easiest job ever.

You get paid a ridicolous amount of money to stare at water all day long. i love it.

Thats good to know. I'm going to do a bid for sod/sprinklers next week in Skyline. Im having a guy who used to work for Ron Hall help me with the bid but he isnt helping with the labor.

Hell yeah. 15 minutes for each stand, 3 stands max, then 1.5 hour break to do shit. You should teach swim lessons, that makes bank.

dude I was in subway today and an old lady started bitching at the kid working because he "almost burnt" her sub. it was ridiculous

ATTN: College students with the summer free.

I can strongly suggest working at a summer camp during the summer. I have been teaching wakeboarding at a summer camp in maine for the past 8 summers. would not trade it for the world. I get to run 4 mastercraft ski boats all summer, don't pay for gas , housing or food. It is a really nice transition from school. You get to meet tons of people from accross the country in a non school atmosphere. The night life can rival those of the craziest frat parties - the frats so it is a win. Also you get to help shape the lives of young people. Camps usually offer everything from skiing/wakeboarding, soccer, baseball, basket ball, ropes course/challange course, swiming, tennis, drama, arts and crafts etc. So finding something you like to teach is pretty easy .

I think the camp i work for might be getting filled up, but if you want help finding a job pm me and i can hook you up or answer any questions.
