Anyone have any good ideas for summer jobs? I was thinking something like ups unloading packages or something because it would probably pay decent.

i work for the mountain because (at whistler/blackcomb anyways) you get a free glacier skiing pass and bike park pass :D:D

i work at a golf course, which is pretty sweet. i just drive around in golf carts most of the day

i worked at a summer camp as a couselor and i got paid to chill with a bunch of little kids, waterski, play on beaches, and chill with hot babes for two months. can't beat it.

im life gaurding and..

organizing resume databases for my dad.

starting up another one of his businesses.

i suggest doing a crash course, then rake in the scrilla.

if you have access to a good mower, nothing beats mowing lawns. if you get like 10 or 12 lawns, charge like 25 or 30 bucks a pop, you can wipe out a full weeks work in 2 days max and get like 360 dollars. that's like working a full time job and getting paid 10 dollars an hour. plus, with lawns, no taxes!!!!

who the fuck just has a "summer job" dont you have to have money to do shit, eat, have fun and ski? or u just mooch off mommy and daddy like the pathetic individual you are?

yes but ive also been working 10 years now. and im 22. in college and have been working my ass off every weekend and weekday as an umpire. 4 baseball games on saturday when i was 12-17, having no life, but getting anyhtig i wanted. i had to buy all my "wants" like tv, computer, stero... but yeah i got the needed stuff in my life like food and shit.

and yes im back, so prepare

im only 14 and scince last year ive been working cleaning shit at a liquor store. its gross. i work in the bottle return mostly and ive gotten bottles filled with piss, shit, sperm, blood, you name it. dont get a job at a liquor store.

uhh isnt that illegal? i thought u had to be 19 to work in a liquor store, since you stock alcohol. unless you know the owner and they let you slide like my friend when he was 17 haha.

makes u become an alchy too :(

Iam a sailing instructor

I dont get paid much (6.50/hour) but all I do is drive a motor boat around and my boss doesnt care if we sleep or come to work hungover

and he lets us clock in when we arnt even working

last year i worked at a golf course, this year i might be a counciller at a camp, but i got offered a ralph lauren polo rugby modeling contract, so thats dope

I got a sick job. I have a job on a fishing boat. (Like on the show Most Dangerous Catch) but off of long island. TOugh work but pays good and is kind of fun

One of the best jobs I ever had when I was a teenager was delivering pizzas for Roundtable. My managers were drug dealers, so that meants all the free pizzas I wanted for me and my friends, pretty much whenever I wanted. Plus, I made so much in tips. I'd deliver to rich people, and I'd come home with 50-150 in tips everday. The hours were sweet 11-6. I loved that job so much.

any ideas for a 15 year old summer job? not many places hire 15 year olds, plus i cant do any job requiring a job.. help?

ya haha sad but true deal or something, just get like ounces, devide them to 8th and push them to like prepubesent 7th grades for $45 an 8th, lol it actually works

whats funny is i used to be the lil kid that got ripped off and i remember paying in quarters and dimes in like a bag haha now i get pay back

bsmith01 I was thinking the exact same fucking thing for my summer job. My friend's dad works for Fedex and he said that they hire a lot of mechanical engineering students for summer jobs/internships and stuff like that, so I'm trying to get a summer job in that kind of a field, but if all else fails I'm gonna try and move boxes this summer.

I dont' know about you, but it's kind of hard to work during the school year when you're taking 18+ credits... I can't only hope to make enough money during the summer and not spend it all so I have money for the school months.

yeah im usually around 16-19 credit hours. just recently have i been able to take a break and drop to 12-14.

also depends on the job you get. i can work from home somemtimes so its a big help

this summer i worked as a lifty at mt snow. it was pretty chill cause no one would show up on the weekdays, so we'd just blaze and do whatever. we fixed the loading and unloading ramps too but that's the only actual work we had to do

i worked at a cheese plant last summer and made cheese and it sucked really bad...so this summer im trying to find a new job..either working at a golf course or the ski resort

realize that most of these kids are just that, kids who only work during the summers. I used to that when I was 16.

why, was it too hard to work and go to school? is HS that hard for you kiddies. fuck i went to school, lift, play football till 7, work 8-11, HW, sleep.

If you want the ultimate summer job be a caddie. The work labor isn't that brutal and you usually only work until noonish. When I was 15 I caddied made $35-45 a round, I only worked weekends and never double bagged. It's good money and if you get to know the members at the local golf club they can totally give you the hookup many many things.

I'm hoping to get a job at this fruit stand that's pretty laid back, hopefully not working weekends at all but making mad chedda all week to blow on hookers and drugs some friday night

Another sweet job I had was valet parking.. but you have to be older, and basically know someone... but it was rad to drive/race around expensive cars while everyone was inside at the event.

golf caddie at a nice country club is great, i worked at Oak Hill one summer and made a lot, rich people's tips are amazing! umpiring is a good job too if you have expierence, i did that for 3 years after 7th 8th and 9th grade, and was making 20 bucks a game my 3rd season, work 5 games a weekend and you can pick up an easy tax free 100 bucks, i did landscaping summer before 11th grade and made a ton of money under the counter but the work sucked and i mainly dug ditches, HOWEVER looking back on it im glad i did that cuz i made a ton of money and learned a lot of good stuff, and got in awesome shape, and then last summer i worked at target, and that was boring as hell!

umpire dude

if you have like a park with a few fields in one place its better. get you and a couple friends and go to your municiple building and ask for a phone number for the president of the little league assn. most likely theyll hook you up with a training session and then you can just start signing up for games. also no taxes if you only do younger ages

cool no one gives a fuck about your poor pethetic "hard time" story, so shut the fuck up your annoying and looking for sympathy and not going to get it sooo stop calmplaing

d-loc you've been talking shit about how hard you work and how much better you are than others because you have a great job that pays well for the past several years. give it a rest. no one cares.
