Summer Job Advice

Ok I know there's a bunch of threads about this already, but i was just looking for some input on my situation. This summer i have the option of working in a restaurant or picking up trash on the beach. The restaurant would be nice and i'd probably meet some cool people, but if I were to pick up trash on the beach i would only work a few hours a day and get to drive a truck. What would NS do?

I would do the waiter. Just cause working alone sucks, which i assume you would be doing if you did the garbage one.

Def go with the waiter job... You don't want to be a garbage man. How old are you? I used to be a bartender and it was mad fun. You meet hella crazy people and actually have some pretty interesting chats with the drunks. Hell if you ever want to be a phsychiatrist, that is great experience in the field.

nothin wrong with that as a summer job man... plus he'll be out on the beach all the time, doesn't sound bad at all to me.

have you ever worked in the food industry before? it can be really stressful, but you do meet so many unique people and it can be really fun, plus you'll get tips which is always nice.

can't really go wrong with either choice in my opinion

last summer I worked at an amusement park and one day a week I had to help clean up the beach. I don't know how you feel about dead fish and birds, but I didn't like picking them up all that much. It was nice walking around on the beach but its not something I'd want to do for more than the hour I spent doing it every week.

be outside all day, get a sweet truck to rally around, sounds rad. do the beach job, it'll put some hair on your sack

i'd say waiter. working in the food industry can be pretty fun and you'll meet tons of people and it's a different experience everyday. picking up trash might be cool at first but it's going to get boring real quick

exactly, but the good thing about being a waiter is tips, and that is money in your pocket you don't have to wait till payday.
