OK, so I know theres gonna be tons of these this summer, so I'll just start one of cause im curious. So what have you people used? I have a 1 foot high rail already made which will be perfect for it. I was thinking about making a 1/4 pipe of steep inrun, so what should I put as the surface. I need something that will slide...

I used soappy carpet which slid ok....... make a big inrun with lots of soap and either use pvc as your rail or use a down rail

perma-snow, but its so fuckin expensive... i wanna have some put in, i had a sample of it shipped over from great britain, supposedly its the best summer skiing surface ever... anyway i have their entire price scales and i could put some pictures up if anyone wants them

i used my 1/4 pipe and i worked ok. just make sure u make the 1/4 BIG. mines only 4 ft. and i didnt use anything to ski on exept wood.

get a crew say 20 buds time it right and get everyone to hit the local rink and load up youll be able to build like crazy if you plan it well and have the ground/railarea shaped

perma-snow is the way to go, im tryin to save some loot to get some this summer, i got the sample and it def would do the best job for summer jibbin

dude fucking indoor outdoor carpet, that like astro turf green looking stuff. it works beautifully with a little water ont that shit.

astroturf man, pretty cheap, and pretty sliperry with water, WAYYYYYYY better than carpet. I also heard Snow fence works well but you cant turn at all.

no, just a bukect of water, so basically not much water at all... if you soaped it it would probably go even faster. we had around 20 fet of not extremely sloped inrun id say. If you pole whipped each other you could get on with barely any inrun.

i have a 10' long 1' high pvc rail, and an inrun made of thin carpeting that i just wet and soap up a bit , mine is prett sweet though b/c it is like 6' high and pretty steep, plenty of speed

whatever you ski over just make sure you are on something steep because you won't be going as fast as snow, and a small wooden ramp is fine

 
how much is the perma snow stuff and the snw fence i bet there expensive so how much turf do u need and how much is it
