Summer jib ramp almost done

All i have left to do is put the turf on, and I'm just wondering for those of you that have a jib setup, how much did you progress on rails over one summer? I feel like I'm going to progress 10x as much on rails during the summer than I did this winter. How much did your setups actually help you?

hah yeah that was an exxageration. but I can't even 180 switchup 270 on or off yet so i really wanna learn those

I hope it's worth it. I'm sure it will be, i just really wanna be able to do 270 ons/off and switchups by next season

the thing is that you will do many tricks that you've never done before, but transitioning them to a taller, metal rail, with more speed and a harder landing is the tricky part. make your set up (if you haven't already) as fast, tall, and scary as possible. the progression you make on a set up like that will do a lot more for you than a 10 inch tall rail going 3 miles per hour.

this. i accidentally build everything too big when i was starting but it's worked out as a rail a foot or two above the ground can only help to some extent.

I have a huge yard, but I need to find the right place to put my setup, I really want it close to my tramp in slackline, because that is in a nice tree filled area, but I don't think there is enough space. Idk I'll have to see.

I think I'll progress so much this summer, and hope I do. I can 270 on but not very good, still scary for me, and barley 270 off. I can do surface swaps on a fat tube, but learned that my last day of skiing. Idk, but it just seems like I could get my 270s on and off on lock with a few days of practice, then get switchups in a day or so, and then just practice linking stuff and making harder rails.

Yeah I hope I'm able to 270 on, I can only 180 and 360 right now but 270 on's don't seem that hard, especially because the first feature I built for the ramp is just a box, and it's decently wide.

The first summer I hardly used it, but I went from not being able to make it to the end of the rail (only 15ft) to being able to 2 off both ways, and slide off my bad side. If I would have used it more I could have probably accomplished more, but oh well.

This summer I'm redesigning my ramp/building new rails.. Stoked!

You'll be able to 270 onto that box in under 5 trys, its pretty simple, but taking it to a skinner rail, for me at least is kinda sketchy/hard.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, we're planning on making a much skinnier rail after we progress enough on this one. Also to the person who asked for pics it'll probably done today so I'll try to get some pics up

How in any way is it useless without pics. I'm asking who else has a jib ramp and how far did you progress, in no way is a picture of my ramp going to help other users tell me their experience with their own setups.
