Summer jib Center In Upstate NY

So i was thinking about setting up an summer jib center so people can play year round and i'd like to get some real feed back from people. There would be a variety of different rails, boxes, barrels etc to play with all pro quality for a small fee. I'd like to get a feel for what features people would like to have. What would be a price people would be willing to pay? It wouldn't be much. Is this something people would like, rather than have to build there own? What do you think?
 
I think this is a great idea, the only flaw is the insurance would be through the roof. If you can afford that, it would be great. Chances are it wont happen!
 
thing is, i would just do up waivers for everyone to sign. rents would have to sign if youre under 18.

back onto the subject at hand, what would you guys want to play on?
 
Actually you can still get sued even if you have a waiver in place. If someone is able to find that something wasn't built right and ect. than they can still sue you for not maintaining your shit or w/e.

Anyways back to the subject. If your able to make this happen charge people $5.
 
yeah stupid me i should actually know this but was prob having a short term memory incident or somethig.

anyways through an LLC, which you have Josh, you can get liability insurance pretty cheap and then go from there.

and $5?? seems pretty cheap considering he'd need $$ to build everything and for the land.
 
OK so insurance and liability aside. If we were to build it would you come? Of course i'd want input from people as to what features they would like.
 
i would deffinitly hit it up, im in the Niskayuna, schenectady, albany area and would traevel atleast 30 mins to hit soemthing like this. $10 for a few hours sounds sick

anyways, so what we have right now are two 8 feet boxes that are 2 feet high. super good fun

BUT, what would you guys want? what would you look for at a place such as he's described? if you were to pay to do something like this in the summer...what would make you say 'shit im not going unless they have _____?'...pickin up what im putting down?

but i dont live in upstate NY. if you do get this shit together and it builds up a good rep some how then ill take a trip.
 
is this place going to be indoors because it sucks skiing when it 100 degrees, you wouldnt have to worry about the rain, and every thing wont get burried in those huge blizzards you get. its a great idea though, if everything is legit.
 
nope it would be outdoors. i hear ya about the heat though. shit we got a bunch of snow sunday or something and after moving it, hitting shit for a few hours, i was beat. the heat sucks balls...big hairy balls at that.

Nice. Those are all very doable features. And yes it would be outside. Who wants to be indoors anyways. Keep the ideas coming guys.

get some butter boxes, 55 gal. barrels to stall on, flat rails, kink rails.

Were would this be anyways, Albany? I'm right near amsterdam so it would be like a 30 minute drive. I could call up Mario and he'd prolly be stoaked to go.

i thought about doing something like this once i graduate. I would start by having likely a weekly rail jam with a $10 entry fee that way you could attract more people.
 
I know it looks so fun, I wish they had that in tahoe. At northstar once they had this car like standing up against this tree, that was pretty fun to.
