Who else is in physical therapy right now trying to get ready for this season?
I sprained both my MCLs on the tramp, been thru 4 weeks of PT and still got another 3.
Where are you in your recovery NS?

me, broke my foot 2 months ago longboarding. week ago the doc said i was pretty well healed. so i thought i was all good. went longboarding yesterday and some kid cut in front of me and i hopped off real quick.... i rolled the same foot and think i just broke it again. fuck

Bent my knee sideways playing hockey.

They think it could be a torn meniscus.

Currently waiting for my MRI results.

If they come back positive I'll need surgery.

BUT, no matter what I'll be back by ski season!

My GOD, tell me about it. It was September 09, I was getting hyped and ready for the winter rolling around, then I go and tear my ACL+MCL in soccer. Had my surgery in December so I sat out the whole of the 09/10 season... probably one of the toughest things I've ever had to do, it was super frustrating. My knee still feels like 80% but I'm still doing 2 hours/day PT + gym religiously so hopefully come Novemeber/December I'll be good to go. I shredded two days in July with a simple knee support and it felt good, but not great.

This was the first summer in the past six years where I didn't get injured. And let me tell you, it is amazing to not be injured going into ski season.

aww dude i got a trampoline spring in my eye an now i lost this eye... i will have a surgery in about 6 month.i hope they will be able to get my eye back.i dont know if im going to be able to see with one eye.

crashed on my longboard today, got mad speed wobbles held it out as long as i could than jumped and rolled so im not too hurt but i slammed my hip

broken arm was the most serious this summer. currently have shin splints and bruised heels which suck. those will get better in no time though

Friend broke his eye socket bone thats behind the eye trying a double side on my tramp. I got the video somewhere..

Well, you'll be able to see with one eye, thats a fact. With regards to getting your eye back, it seems slightly late, seeing that you will have been without an eye for 6 months at that point.

Third dislocation of the same shoulder since january. First time off of skis to do it. Now waiting on MRI's to see if surgery is needed.

then the 2% are true cause thats happen...my friend was jumping on my backyard tramp and he fall on the edge of the trampoline,4 spring break and i got one in my eye while i were not on the tramp.

i think i will be able to ski with one eye but thats not the same thing...id tryed to do some tramp trick about 1 week ago but its a lot more harder cause i dont have the same balance but that will not stop me from skiing.

I got 14 stitches 7 internal stitches on my ankle helping my mum and dad move house....

How about that for karma

have 2 weeks physio cause i cut the sheaf of my tendon and need help getting proper movement D:

knocked my right shoulder off the top of my rib cage and stretched out the ligaments and scapularus muscle and all that good stuff. 3 weeks into pt and it feels a ton better. not 100%, but im not waking up from ridiculous amounts of pain from rolling on it in my sleep. got a few weeks left but they say ill be good to go for this season

i almost died skiing in chili this summer...

got caught in an avalanche, broke 4 ribs, my collarbone, and broke my ankle... but i dug myself out powered by nothing but adrenaline

cuz i win...

all the time... every time...

Bruised heel bone, possibly a sprained MCL, I did something to my back. All within two weeks of eachother. Thank you football

weell, 2 days ago i was on teh trampoline and, i fractured my ankle. im in a cast. and my foot is liek double the size of the other one, so sick. naat.

So as an update on my knee from my earlier post, the MRI came back and i have a complete ACL tear when they told me that was out of the equation. So instead of being back by ski season, i cant do anything but work out and get surgery for at least a year. fuck.

Broke my left wrist skateboarding, right as that was I healed I broke the right one when on a rare occasion I fell drunk bombing, not as bad of a break but still annoying.

Aww dude that sucks, i dislocated my shoulder last day of the season. Had surgery and im still in PT. Shoulder injures suck.

broke my wrist/hand, got pins in it a week ago. in a splint for about another 2 weeks, then PT to build up strength again

I had a biking injury! Bruised both hands hands and my right hip! Was left with a bloody patch for a few days! You can still see the mark though!

Got surgery after skiing on a broken ankle for 5 months. I was born with an extra bone in my ankle, and my new ski boots just impacted it and caused parts of my ankle to break. Yea shit hurt. I had a second ankle, the size of a golf ball.

had my 8th surgery in 6 years. This time I had screws put in my thumb and wrist to fix a torn ligament. Should be good to go for skiing this season! Last winter it would dislocate all the time!
