So the ski season in the midwest is pretty much over, and i dont know what to do with myself this summer. What are some of the things you guys do?

Plant trees

and then when thats over do good fuckin' Canadian kid things, like jump off high stuff, drink beers around fires on pristine lakes, smoke the dopest dope all night, catch fish while cruisin real slow, go camping, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, canoe tripping, drink more beers during the day pretty much every day, stay away from cities, jump off more high stuff, etc...

Travel, ski, mountain bikes, drink rum, chase sharks and make video games.

That's pretty much what I do all year round anyway to be fair.

camping

nothing like shootin the shit with your homies in the middle of the woods around a bonfire and then trying to climb into your hammock drunk as hell

in the same boat as op, got the midwest blues. basically dream of skiing and having the cash to go to windells or COC. other than that i do a lot of mountain biking. Oh yeah and i dream of ways to make my home mountain not suck. If you think your mountain sucks, try skiing a whole season at mtlacrosses excuse for a terrain park. that shit sucks..

If you can't think of anything to do in the summer you are half retarded. Climb/bike/cliffjump/paraglide/speedfly/golf/fish/raft/canoe/climbtrees/gardenshit/collectrocks/photographstuff/frisbee/soccer. You heard it hear first.

Im planning on taking a backpacking trip out in Utah sometime in May, hopefully Glen Canyon or Zion. Then I'll be heading out to Japan to hang with my sis. Every other day will be spent working.

Well summer is inevitable so things to do? Get a job that can save yourself some good cash for winter, and then take advantage of all the sweet shit you can do, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Fishing, Hiking, Kayaking. Honestly the hardest part of summer is picking a few sports to specialize in, so far I've been mainly into hiking trail running and climbing.

My home mountain is still open. I feel like the other Midwest hills got sniped by mother nature and mine is in the crosshairs.

Everyone be flockin up to granite for one last ski

Already mentioned but slacklining and cliff jumping are really great ways to stay in shape and practice for skiing. If you go on www.airabovewater.com they have cliff jumping places in pretty much every state. It's almost guaranteed that they have places near you.
