I'm looking into going to a summer camp like windells or high north. just seeing if anyone has been to a summer camp, and which ones are real good. thanks

I went to coc and it was gay. I would recommend going to high north, the athmosphere there is pretty sweet and the diggers there know what they are doing. Most of the coc terrian up there is poachable depending on the time and day. The only problem up on the glacier is the damn t-bar line.

note: coc lies. last years website bragged about 2 private lifts and a bunch of different rails. when i got up they didn't have all the rails and only on t-bar that took you about 50 ft. up the pipe. gay.

yes, SMS is the best to go too. if you're somewhat new to the park scene, then this is the place for you. if you're more in tune to park skiing, maybe high north, but from what i've heard, it's more intimidating at high north, SMS is more laid back.

Dave Murrays is also really good if your new to the sport... They got a nice well maintained park with not tiny but not HUGE kickers... The coaches rock and its great... Ive spent the past 2 summers at DMSSS!!! But im checking out High North maybe this summer.. if I go out at all!

High North kicked ass. For the first half of the day you get split up into groups of about 5 and get assigned to a certain pro and you ski with them for about half the day. Then after groups you can ski around on your own and get private tips from the pros. And every day you get a new teacher so you get to meet tons of pros and learn sick tricks. Last year i met Seth Morrison, Shane Szocs, Shannon Schad, J.P Auclair, Pep Fujas, Candide Thovex, Tanner Hall, Peter Olenick and a bunch more. IT FUCKING ROCKED

 
High North and SMS are next to each other on the glacier and are similarly run. In short, SMS is slightly more beginner suited with HN having wilder stuff. Last summer High North had bigger tables, harder rails, and a higher quarterpipe. On the other hand, SMS had a 'learn to flip' jump as well as plastic rails. But still, the big SMS table was 45ft and the quarter was 22ft which I think is plenty of size for most people. Either way, you can't go wrong.

COC is run differently on another part of the Glacier so I can't comment on them. Same way with Dave Murray...

 
to add to my first post... High North gives you a nasty hotel room w/ 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a balcony, a chillin room and 2 bath rooms. and every night they take you out to dinner.

 
i have narrowed my decision to high north or sms. high north looks sweet, but douglas and some of the terrain at sms sounds sweet too.
