does anyone here know much about being a digger at the camps in b.c.? Has anyone every been one or know if they camps hire people for the summer? It would be a pretty sweet job.

 
It is a sick job. And don't get angry when I say this, but you have no chance in hell of ever gettin gone of those jobs unless you have a major in. Sorry to burst your bubble.

digging is the sweetest. you get to ski for free all summer and make the hits exactly how you want them. Ahh I love digging. But yea, if you have to ask about it on NS, there's no way you're gona be a digger.

you can apply to be a digger at Windells i know its not BC but hood is suposed to be an excellent mountain.

basically, unless you've been going to the camp for a few years or they know you real well, it's really tough to get a digging job. Not to mention, although it's totally worth it diggin is tougher than you'd think--especially on the first and last weeks of camp when you're first setting things up and getting things ready to be heli'd off the glacier. and that's all i gotta say about that.
