Summer Camp - costs?

After reading the articles about COC I'm getting superstoked to try to get their maybe next summer. But since I'm from Europe, Sweden to be exact, I don't really know anything about it except what I've read in the articles. So how much does it cost to be on camp for like 2 weeks? I don't need an exact number, just want to get an idea on how much it really costs.

And yes, there are places to ski in the summer closer, Norway and the Alps for example, but it would be sick to get to see a bit of North America for a change.

If you don't know how much it cost, a website with some info would be sweet !

Just checked out the website and I found some kind of camp option called "Euro Camp" but I can't find any fact about it. Anybody who knows what it is ?

Found some info finally. But man, that was some expensive shit.! 40 000 SEK for two sessions, which is almost 7000 USD, I've never even had that much money...

Hey Guys, our 5 day Deluxe camps start at $1,125 without accommodation or $1,200 with accommodation. Camp can be on the expensive side, but when you build a park the scale of what we build in the summer, it's not exactly cheap.

When you get down to the details and look at what you get, it's actually a really good value for your money. Take the price of accommodation, lift tickets, food, riding with a coach, transportation to the airport and back, a photographer and after riding activities for a week in Whistler any other time and you'll see what I mean.

Also camp is not just for the rich kids, I know because I talk to tons of campers who saved every dime they made over the last year or two and skied old gear just so they could come to camp. If you ride with your coach every day and really focus on getting new tricks dialed, you'll learn more on one week than you would in one season. For example: "I just wanted to say that I learned more in the 3 days I was riding at the camp of champions that I have in the past 3 years "

So if you come to camp and put your enregy into getting the most out of it that you can, it will be worth every penny you save.

CoC is definitely worth it. It's unbelievable. A ton of fun and you learn a LOT. I learned flips, FS switchups on rails, tail presses and switch lips in just a few days!

I talked with a whole bunch of campers from 10 to late 30's to see how much they were enjoying their time and how much they improved while being at COC.

Pretty much everyone I talked to learned a couple new tricks and said they were having the best time of your life.

I'd say saving those 1200$ to get in the 5 day camp is definatly worth it. Being out there with a whole bunch of other riders who are willing to try and learn new stuff will definatly help you gettign better .

as a parent, I know..... bla bla bla yet, in all of my travels and experiences...... I have never seen anything that provides such a good time for kids. Summer skiing on a glacier? People (other parents) are amazed when I tell them.

I sent nips out for his first 2 years, he screwed up the 3rd year in school, so no camp. I put him to work last summer and he took the money he was making and asked if he could pay for camp. I could not say no.

The point of this? Yes it is extremely expensive comparatively, but it is also a very unique opportunity. IF you have dreams of going to camp. Find a way to go, I have never heard of anyone being disappointed.

^ I see what your saying and I'm sure camp is a really fun experience, but I'd rather put 2 g's somewhere else where it's more worth while. Like putting that money towards a whole ski season of ski bumming, rather than just a week of skiing in the summer.
