summer bums me out...

this sucks...where i live, the skiing season is over because all the snow is melting, and it bums me out. i hate summer except for ice cream and skateboarding. i want to ski so bad right now...but theres like no snow on my hill or my backyard jump. And when i look at pictures of people skiing i get all stoked, but then realize, i cant go skiing. i wish my skiing season was longer, anyone else have this problem?

 
i do. i live in MA where everything pretty much is closed or is dirt granular. i could go up to stowe or somewhere north but i cant drive and my parents are fags. they keep telling me to stop obsessing about skiing and im just like shut up.

I feel ya. At least I have a comp on sat, a spring thingy in late april and camp. Just make some money for yourself and the season doesnt have to end. I also play paintball a lot and that helps with the crave.

YEah i hate warm weather so much....being hot and sweaty all the time....just thought of it is pissing me off....

yeah but summer has some badass things too.. like wakeboarding and backpacking.. ya gots to admit theres nothin better than laying under the stars in the middle of no where.. haha and i'm gonna go hike up blackcomb this summer and camp on top! anyone can join me!

summers got wakeboarding and sailing. the seasons i hate are late spring when the waters cold, and i hate fall soo much. fall sucks, nothing to do except soccer.

as much as i dont want ski season to end, i dont mind summer. i cant wait to go to the beach n theres a lot less stress because there is no school.

 
i hear u. the summmer does suck since there is no skiing. but like there is sooo much u can do to train and practice for the next season., water ramps, tramps, etc.

being fucked around sucks. to all u assholes around. dont talk to me. i've had it with guys.
 
see now it would be so cool if lower michigan was divided through gaylord - below the line its always 75-90 above it its always 15-25...for me there is nothing to do in winter besides ski on weekends, so i would get to hoop and play football or baseball or whatever everyday. hahaha it doesnt sound like its gonna happen anytime soon though :(

Hmmm... i hate not having skiing. But summer has its advantages. There's no school, and you can just chill outside with yer bros. It's cool.

yeah i dont like the fact that summer is so hot, but i like wakeskating and skateboarding. and my dad lives on a lake so i go swimming and boating all the time

summers ok, but winter is by far supreme. i wish i lived somewhere with snow 365 days a year, but then, i wouldn't trade colorado for anything

 
I always get bummed out right around now.. seeing the sun shine and being able to wear shorts kills me but once u get into it theres lots to do. i just concentrate on sailing and other summer things and keep my mind off skiing until october.. i want to find a sport thats not totally dependent on weater u know?? like indoor table tennis...

North Carolina summers are hot as hell. plus the smog in Greensboro is some of the worst in the US. Its horrible (SOB) horrible.....

I have camp...so that'll hopefully hold me over....until then I can ski at Abasin and make some kickers hopefully....there are some good things about summer....

 
summer offers also great activities. dirt bike, motoX, surfing, windsurfing, train for the winter etc.

when my shoulder is fine again i'll go tho the glaciers in austria and ski

I guess it is time to take out my longboard and to get ready for sailing. Im obsessed with skiing and need to get my mind off it soon or I will have a breakdown. Think Water and SUn...dammit summer sux

I like summer cause all the string bikini's come out (no affeance girls all guys like them) But I like winter better cause you get to ski. I love to ski and cant wait for june 19 cause im leavin for SMS

summer does suck, right now i cant wait until i can ski gain. i live where the snow has been gone since march. there are other things to do. i surf during the summer and thats not bad...

 
yeah, summer is ok, but winters better. I hate early fall and late spring, everythings crappy outside. No school defiantly is good......i wish we could pick when our break could be though..

i cannot complain whatsoever... i mean no snow, but hell then i got skateboarding.. the thing is just get really into what youre doign... for me its winter SKIING SKIING SKIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then summer its SKATE SKATE SKATE!!!!!! but i still thin k about skiing of course.. my plan is buy a tramp and pract with my ski boots on and get some motions down ... that sohuld work well,...

taking up skateboarding helps deal with no skiing. i started last summer and its fun and its the same mentality: you wanna learn new tricks and get better. i like mt biking too, similar rush as skiing.

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?
 
i do skateboard, its fun...but id rather ski. heh yup yup yup. wakeboarding is fun too...but i still rather have winter year round :P
