suit. tux's are a bit much for graduation... grad isnt formal at all. you just should look nice. I mean, you really have your robe on the whole time basically.

It really depends. If you can afford to get a nice suit, get one. But if you don't have that much, its probably better to rent a tux than get a cheap suit, cause at least then you still look good.
