So i am 18, living in Sammamish, and i looking for a good job in the greater Eastside area, I've tried a couple of places.

Tried craigslist and it seems that plenty of people are hiring, im just wondering if anyone has a good idea on where to go for a quick employment.

Thanks Newschoolers

You might consider looking for a municipal job, with one of the local cities. I (as well as kevin, kevywevy on here) worked for the City of Kirkland all though high school and college. The pay was excellent, hours were flexible, we got good retirement moneys (which we're both finally getting out now, woohoo).

I can't speak for the other cities, but working for Kirkland was great, I imagine the other cities are good too, especially Sammamish since there's a lot of money out there.

Kevin worked as a counselor for the summer day camp, we both worked as night time receptionists in community centers, I worked as stage announcer and sound technician for the kirkland summer concert series. You could also do landscaping work for the cities, etc etc.

creepy.

but that is some good advice. However anytime you work for a government agency, talk to people and find out how good they are at admin stuff; especially getting your money too you.

When I have worked for city governments it has taken them up to 4 months to get me my money. Sounds like City of Kirkland is good though.

Last year of high school and first year of college I work greenscrew on a golf course. Awesome job if you like golf. Sucked getting up at 530, but getting off early and free golf was awesome. Plus you get a good tan and in good shape.
My last two years of college I delivered pizza. Good money, don't have to deal with customers or other employees too much.
