You should put an option on the forum whenever you post a message. It e-mails you whenever someone replies. Like on the jibbing.com board.

 
I was thinking of doing that, but 13,000 posts = 13,0000 emails = server breaking.

That's a lot of emails.

im just going to try to make a point with this post... but i dont even know if you were one of the people bitching about jibbing.com 'stealing ideas' from ns.com (raptor), but wouldnt your idea be consitered 'stealing an idea' from jibbing.com?

(im not supporting either site in anyway with this post, and i think both are cool, so nobody start talking shit to me... thanks)

haha... it is a good point and I agree with what you're saying, BUT:

About 50% of forums on the internet (maybe a couple thousand... or a couple hundred thousand) have that option, so it wasn't jibbing.com's idea. He was merely using it as an example.. he could have said 'like Yahoo's forums' and it would have been the same thing! yup.

yeah I've seen it elsewhere, and I like it. And I'm not one of those people that criticize jibbing.com for 'stealing' ideas. I don't think it matters. Sharing should be more like it. But I don't see anything that jibbing.com 'took' from ns.com. Or that ns.com 'stole' from jibbing.com.

 
i dont think it matters either, but im just really sick of the people that got all pissed over the whole 'stealing' accusations, and it didnt even concern them either... and i didnt know if you were one of those people, so sorry if i was being stupid

the email thing for replies doesnt sound like it cant be done, as long as its an option not a requirement then everyone willnt choose and it and that willnt equal 13,000 emails/ server breaking

Does it matter...why are you guys dissing jibbing.com! I think ns.com and jibbing are great sites. They both get the word out there about our sport don't they?

 
Not dissin' anything, but Harvey is the greater of the gods. But why just compare him to jibbing.com, Harvey is one of the greatest gods of any forum..... but mostly because of the hair.

 
yeah... u can come back in an hour or less, and your message will be replied to like 10 times. thats how many ppl come here.

 
its not just server breaking, you make on post and 50 people respond after you, do you really need 50 e-mail?
