Suggestion: European B/S/T Section

I'm sure it would attract many european skiers to the site, and for us who's already here, it would be a huge improvement to have the B/S/T Forum, because shipping and taxes is very expensive between USA and Europe.

Unlikely to happen for the simple reason that we want less clutter, not more. We are always thinking about deleting inactive forums. Splitting forums only happens when deemed more or less absolutely necessary.
 
I understand, but how about a sticky thread in BST to make european users, use the regionals forum for selling trading and buying?
 
If there's enough activity to make it worthwhile you should be able to keep it near the first page without sticky-ing it, seems like half the first page is full of stickied threads in every forum as it is.

there just isn't enough european members active in b/s/t to justify a sticky, let alone an entire forum...

sorry man, you're just going to have to pay the shipping and duties. i know it sucks, but most kids are at least willing to ship overseas now if you (the buyer) cover the extra shipping.
 
Depending on what's being shipped it's not necessarily even that bad. But yeah, skis get up there, can cost as much to ship as it costs for the sticks themselves.
