I'm going there next Wednesday, the 9th. What does the park look like over there ? And has there been any snowfall recently, cause here in Quebec it hasn't snowed for about 3 weeks and today it's raining.

i was there 2 weeks ago.. i wouldnt reccommend going there for park although it isnt all that bad.. the glades are amazing, go and ski theyre glades

i went 2 years ago and the jumps were small. I've heard alot of good things about it this year tho. I guess they have alot more rails and some pretty decent jumps

311 is the Fuckin Shit Mutha Fucka

last year when i wnet it was pretty icy, but the tables were pretty big...i think theyve gotten some good dumpings of snow this year

I got back 10 minutes ago. They had 31 inches of snow two days ago, so they are good in that department. The glades are nice because all of that snow, and many people haven't been in them. The park is doing alright, although I think they cut the lips on the jumps down a little for an upcoming boardercross race. They built a new halfpipe, with its own trail (Pipeline) the old halfpipe is still up, but not really maintained that well. For pics go to www.sugarloaf.com

wouldnt recomend it for park, not a whole lot of choice when it comes to jumps, a few rails, although im not a big fan of the reallllyy steep landings after every rail.

it is a good park, good jumps, rails are so so

The bible is just literature and the church is a glorified book club.

cva kids are alot sicker at pipe because of loafs pipe being so nice. dan is alot better at pipe then park, and corey is crazy at both. the only reason the loafs pipe is so nice is cause of cva. cva puts so much money into it. back to terrain, sugarloaf is so sick. i started skiing there when i was five and go back so much( even though its a 6 hour haul from CT). sick trails and decent pipe. and i know most kids on this site wouldn't hit half the shit in there park. so shut uo

^^So loaf's pipe is sick because of CVA's money? I don't get it... what about the guys who put in the 100's of hours to get the thing built? CVA didn't pay them!

actually CVA payed to have Pipeline built. They payed sugarloaf, who then payed the guys who built it. so yes you can thank CVA

I'm sorry, are we talking dirt or snow? Dirt, yes an Alumnist of CVA put up the money for the excavation project.

Snow, however, was made and pushed by the snowmakers and groomers, who were not paid by CVA. I can tell you that first hand.

You know in the long run it don't matter who pays for the damn thing... I was just trying to point out that the people on the hill are the ones responsible for how the halfpipe turns out. CVA's friends could put forth a million bucks and still get a crappy halfpipe- because it is the expertise of the builder that really matters. I left blood sweat and tears in that pipe, and certainly didn't have any guidance or a paycheck from CVA. The guy who is out there maintaining it is also not paid by CVA, nor is the mountain 'reimbursed' for his wages. Period.
