Sugarloaf Vs. Sunday River

the loaf is the shit the vibe there is so much better everyone is alot nicer and the park and pipe are money. i skied their pipe last march on a nice day and it was one of the most perfect superpipes i have hit in a long time. plus, the general skiing there is a million times better because runs are significantly longer (much much more vertical).

wtf is ur problem, u hate on sugarloaf so bad. SR is sick and so is the loaf, the difference is that SR has a better park but more out of state faggots. sugarloaf has just as good terrain, if ur not a fucking park rat like willy

sunday rivers park is always pretty good, but so many x cuts (most in the us) and trails arent very long. The loafs park is aright most of the time, right now it is amazing, and if there is the snow then the loaf is much much better, more steeps, more bumps, better park flow, better pipe..i could go on. anyone who says the loaf sucks must have gone on a very cold day and only skiied off the superquad which accesses 25% of their terrain.

Alright so here's my full review of both of them.

Sunday River: More park features, rails, boxes, etc. Parks don't have as much flow as Sugarloaf but more/bigger features. Also a fun mountain to ski overall. It's so spread out (7 peaks) so if you know what place to go at certain times you can avoid lines all day. Also warmer and less windy than Sugarloaf. Also have the best snowmaking in the east which helps.

Sugarloaf: Good park, a lot better flow than SR. One thing I don't like is how the mountain isn't as spread out as SR. If you want to take a high speed than it's either the American Express or the Whiffletree. One thing that kills SR is the night life. The village at the Loaf is better than anything in Bethel. It does get a lot colder at the Loaf than SR. Really good for spring skiing too.

Both mountains are dope. Both get relatively same amount of snow per season. I usually pick SR because it's only 3.5 hours from me instead of the 5 from Sugarloaf.

That's a good review of the two no doubt.

Unreal storm just dropped 28-34" on us. Park crew is planning to drop in the remaining rails into RC and SRJP by the weekend. That's make a total of 30-35 or so on hill off the top of my head. Also make some fun on the airhill (our biggest air site). Most lifts were on hold Thurs, so fri/sat should be ill. www.sundayriver.com for storm pics or my sig for park pics. enjoy.

Sugar loaf is for homo fag gapers, b/c when a gaper shows up at the river we give them and the 5 year old kids shit for being retarded and when your at SR you get any kind of rail, a stairset a big air and this year a new wall ride\

Go River!

it's always nice to go somewhere you haven't been, so i would say Sugarloaf. You won't be disappointed, especially if tehre is alot of snow. the snowfields are wicked awesome, there is plenty of steeps and basicall everything you could want. Sunday River has better parks though.

so sugarloaf (or sugar loaf according to you) sucks because sunday river gives gapers shitty rentals because all gapers are retarded.

everyone who reads this thread and plans on going to sugarloaf should cancel their trip to sugarloaf and go to sunday river because this kid sounds legit.
