Sugarloaf the best park in the east?

75 is unrealistic. But I'd say their biggest is probably 60, and from what I've seen that wouldn't be completely out of the question. They can put in some huge lines.

I wait for pictures or real estimates or measurements.

Jump size is like dick size, it's fine the way it is but everyone feels the need to tack on some extra distance.

40 footers become 60 footers. Not saying they might not have a 60 footer, but I would be surprised if it wasn't overestimated a little bit. Especially when somebodies throwing out numbers like 75.

I think the big booter in inferno for the dew tour at ms was 65, and that was big enough for smooth 12's.

Also I think the gulch there is usually 40',45' and those jumps are pretty lofty. Inferno on a regular non comp day is probably only around 50' 55' maybe.

Those numbers could be totally wrong because I'm just guessing but that seems about right. I've heard the myth of "this mountain made a jump that's like 80 feet" too many times.

I wouldn't be surprised if biggest jump in that line is under 50'.

At gore before I left they wanted me to mark the jumps with signs that said 35' and 40' I wouldn't do it because they weren't even close. I think we measure it to 23' and 28' one time. Wasn't even close.

Waterville does indeed have a 70 footer, their jumps are on point from what my WVA friends tell me.

Killington is in the middle of opening what will no doubt be the most fun Dream Maker ever built, the rail section looks unbelievable already. (trust me-home mountain)

Sugarbush is KILLING it this year too, they've got a 25-35-40 foot jump line going, and some of the craziest rail features I've ever seen. I'd say those are the top 3 parks on the east right now, and then of course Mt Snow always has enough features to last a lifetime

our biggest jump in whistler is MAYBE 70 feet, probably more like 60ish. im gunna take a guess that the biggest jumps at breck or key are around that too right now. That would be bigger than ive ever seen the air hill at sugarloaf. did you ever see that jump meatheads built next to the superquad? that was like 75 or so

It's just that people have no idea what they're talking about when they throw out numbers. Somebody measure that thing and post back in the thread. I wonder what the biggest jump that's even open to the public this season is. People have no idea how big 60-70 really is. By some peoples logic chads gap is probably 4 or 500 feet.

Here's me hitting the hundred footer in my backyard for size reference.

Laughing at the disbelief in this thread lol. Waterville's jump line is usually on point with Inferno, or a tad smaller. 50-60 Ft. Isn't unrealistic at all, 70 probably is. Gonna find a park report video or something so we can all be on the same page.

First it's 75, then it's probably 60, now it's 50 maybe 60.

It's already shrunk 15-25 feet in size within the last 10 post.

Personally, i think that Carinthia at Mount Snow is the best park in the east, but Sugarloaf's park does look really sick though.

probably not happening soon, they are having a USASA boardercross and halfpipe comp in the coming weeks, I doubt there going to be putting much effort into parks (or anything else for that matter besides the usual trails)

Patiently awaiting Shockwave.

wouldn't say it's the best but i haven't been there too many times so the only thing i can really judge is the jumps which definitely aren't the best

theres no way. in pictures and videos and by word of mouth i heard 35 45 55

which is what loon has up right now for a bottom 3....

i will say again thats what i HEARD about WV but i know loon is a 35 45 55

but loon has a sick park this year idk how i havent heard about it too much in this thread. sugarloaf and WV rival it for sure.... SR in my opinion doesnt have a good park at all. i hate their jumps and their rails are boxes are weird... just not a fan

but loon is mad fun. float mad fun jumps and the rails are all over the place. some difficult some easy some creative. i think they nailed it this year

Is this Waterville? If so you definetly have loaf beat us with jumps but we might have you with rails.

This is Waterville yes. I think the pictures are a bit old, didn't check the facebook links, but they probably have 15+ rails in the bottom of Exhibition, with probably another 15 scattered in the other parks.

Yeah our jumps are very high quality so you beat us by quantity there. Hopefully I'll get up there for a comp later this year
