So its pretty early to be thinking about this but as sugarloaf keeps expanding and the amount of uncharted off the map terrain is shrinking.AS FAR AS I KNOW no one has layed tracks on burnt moutain snow fields. So this thread is to discuss sugarloaf and burnt mountain backcountry

a lot of that terrain has been getting skied as long as ive been at Sugarloaf. I skied quite a bit of burnt 6 years ago.

Whats good now will depend on what gets cut and how it gets cut. The problem with a lot of that area was really thick underbrush which made skiing challenging. Hopefully we can access some real sweet terrain though! My fingers are crossed

this past march when the snowpack was real good there were quite a few people skiing the snowfield on burnt. Conditions gotta be right though cause the wind scours that face of all its snow fairly often. The freshly cut stuff has been getting better and better every year though, cant wait to see whats next!

I've seen a few people ski the snowfield. I think there will be a continuation of the Golden Road connecting to it. We tried to find our way up there last year but the golden road dips way far down. It'll be sick to see what they added this year!
