Sugarbush

ya that was dumb those kids were annoying and id be waitin in line, friend ready to do a couple follows and these kids keep hiking up and dropping right in front of me. sweet!

What were you rockin? I was in the Blue saga top and gray pants, I was chillin with my bro in a red, white, and brown striped top and red pants.

I'm so stoked, my bro and I both got a 7 on our last hit!!!

I'll be up there next Sunday for sure, maybe Saturday.

The second one on the skiers right. The one that most people were waiting on the knuckle on the first jump for.

so wait what's set up?

They have a legit dfd?

Last time I was there things where nice, but every jib was pretty small, cept the down rail (still pretty short, and some boxes).

Anyone know if they have set up anything new this week?

they added on 3 more rails across the run horizontally aka now you can have a quadruple rail run that is sick with a nice variety of features.

from the facebook:

"We are continuing the great rail drop of 2010, finished a three pack on lower park and hopefully will drop three more before the weekend. Our jump line is fun but still a little suspect. We need to fine tune it. Yes I know Stowe's jumps are better than ours.. I get it, Much respect to Kurt and his crew over there, but come on our rail set up is banger, and we will get those friggen jumps dialed if its the last thing I do......"

"30 features, endless lines, only 10 more to go!"

anddd a new edit showcasing some shit.

hahaha just because they have more rails up doesn't mean they are better....

Love that mentality.

But yeh stoked to see the new stuff.

it said banger not better if you mean in comparison to stowe.

but them putting more rails up definitely does make em better than before, at least IMO.

headed up tomorrow after my morning classes. get some shots, and plan on getting tail 3s and 5s into my small bag of tricks.

gonna watch tons of videos of 270s on because i always pussy out because i dont want to land unnatural on a box... gotta try em sometime though

if you can 180 you can 270, and if u can't land unatty then spin the other way.
Honestly learn it unatty though cus once u have that u will pretty much automatically be able to do it the other way.

everything around the lower jib section today was choppy as shit, but they certainly have a lot of shit set up. upper graduation was changed up with some bonks and the short down rail with a donkey dick

i tried the 270 on on the flat down... got on ok first try, but i need to widen my stance. did a nice hip slide to fist pump claim though. and second try was worse.. but once they get the flat box set up well again, ill try some more

and just a warning: dont hit the rainbow box when there is snow on top of it. having one ski slow down suddenly really blows right at the peak of it

I did the same thing on a two sev on, on the flat down. Fucked my knee up so bad. What do they have set up on the lower jib section?

the top part is the same until after the down flat and c box options. after that you have option of the dfd, down bar, or box (basically what was at lincoln early season)

then another down flat (regular size down rail, mellower transition), the single barrel down handrail (still setting up), and another box option (hasnt been set yet)

and they have space in between the old set up and the new addition to add another triple option (battleship box i hope?)

The battleship box would be sick.

Btw does anybody know anything about the snow sugarbush supposedly got? The website said they got a fresh 6 inches.

there was at least 3. probably more in the woods, but its all scraped off again now other than some in the woods.

will throw together a run through the park to show all the features it has and post it up here early next week, so everyone can see em :: )

cool ima be there too. we'll be filming as well. i think its supposed to be sunny and not too cold which is awesome!

what else does a college student do on a friday?

and im really not a fan of that last jump. it is built pretty well and everything, but the size is definitely too small. i landed really deep both times i hit it and i was throwing away speed most of the way into it from the second landing.

Ya i was taking it pretty far down as well but I think it's good for when people are doing bigger spins and shit because you can keep a nice speed from the previous jump and not have to bomb to make the gap.

flossin through sugarbushs park has been so dope. couldnt ask for anything more from the park staff, psych i would actually love a flat rail or up rail. but yea everything about that park is soo much fun right now except for it breaking my heal plates...

flat or up would be EPIC down in the lower part of the park. Maybe get rid of the small ass down box 2nd to last and throw a 20ft flat in there, perfect landing already.

I was there yesterday, but I wasn't feeling the park too much so I stayed in the woods where there was some great snow.

pretty sure they are going to have a flat on the very last section. they had it out thursday and were digging for it, but it wasnt there on saturday.

word,

would be epic if they raised the single barrel down out of the ground like 1.5-2ft too, make it a real urban style rail. The landing is way to quick on it right now.

idk how big that rail actually is. if i remember it right, its not too tall o a rail

but yea, i completely agree on dat idea, that would be so sick, and landing is wayyy to short

i want da battleship! i heard they had a double barrel rail?

but anyone remember that giant spindle thing? it looks like a big H, idk what to call it, but I want that in soooo bad. So far, park has been money. Wonder when theyll put in da cannon...

I really wish they had skinnier boxes. The flat one they had setup on riemergasse was so much fun. I loved hiking that.
